How bad is the view, particularly around/behind the C-pillars?
@velocelens6 ай бұрын
@@ryans5615 I find it not too bad, though right side visibility is a weak spot. I haven't had any real issues with it. Might be worse for people who are taller though

@@ChicagoItalianpurchased my gransport 5-6 yrs ago from another car enthusiast who had multiple race cars and unique vehicles. Had my car on a few race tracks against more powerful autos and passed most as he had a lot of experience ( the driver not the car adage). I’ve had no issues with the car other than a bad sensor I changed myself and the rear tie rods which couldn’t be adjusted so I purchased a set for 225.00 and my mechanic set up the suspension and alignment. Car has been flawless at 47k miles. I believe it still has the orig clutch as well. I do have a small oil leak at valve cover and will either replace myself or have my guy do it. And lastly the oil pressure sender has been broken since I bought car and have a replacement for it. Not much more to tell other than the cloth inserts on seats were faded to light pink from silver !! So I dyed them to look better but will eventually have them redone in leather if I keep the car. Love the rawness and exclusivity of this car. Future classic in my opinion.

GranSport is 396 Horsepower. With a tune and exhaust it can be bumped up to 420ish…as I’ve done with mine. Over 180 mph, no turbos and can cruise at autobahn speeds all day.

When they run and when they have a manual, these are great. The Italians are great at designing engines and chassis, not so great at actually building cars. It looks a bit dated but still exotic, and that interior looks fantastic.

yo dont need to put it in neutral everytime you go on a stop, some people do it to save some wear on the clutch but it wont make a difference, my car actually dont like when i do it, better to just let the car downshift itself

Am I the only one that noticed it’s overheating pretty badly..?
@Tom--Ace5 ай бұрын
You're right! At 4:05 it definitely seems high! About 232F/111C. Usually these cars go up to 208F/98C, then the high speed fans kick on and temps drop back down to 194F/90C. I would definitely recommend the owner checks that his fan thermistor is not burnt out or that his fan relay is working, as these issues can cause the high speed fans to not come on and cause overheating - I had the same issue on my car and fixed it with a new fan thermistor and reseating and cleaning the relay.

The 05 and 06 gransports were the most reliable compared to 3200 and 4200 according to the forums. I have an 06 and after 8 years have had just fluids and one $500 coolant leak.
