Check out the ShotKam (GUN CAMERA)! Duck video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqukmpSLiqyDepo. Our camera only records the critical time before, during, and after the shot. It also has an adjustable reticle (point-of-aim indicator) so you can see whether you were matching the speed of the bird! The ShotKam has Wi-Fi so shots can be studying in the field. It records 120 FPS and plays back in 1/4 speed. Contact us at Sales@ShotKam.com if you have any questions. Best regards! ShotKam Team

Hi Jonathan Great film - well done! Out of curiosity, did the team bring their own guns or did they hire from the estate? Did they use 12's or 20's? Cheers
@JonathanMMcGee8 жыл бұрын
Hi David. This team brought their own guns but I believe the estate has many sets you can use. This team shot 12, 20 and 28g all to great effect. If I visited I would probably take a 12g and do as this team did and target the really high sporting birds. Thanks again

What do they mean by Magpies? Assume it's a type of marking but couldn't find any photos online, another great video all the same!
@JonathanMMcGee8 жыл бұрын
+Giles Mowlem Hey Giles. In this area of Spain they have hundreds of magpies like the black and white ones we have in the UK, equally as destructive to nesting birds. They also have a second species that looks more like a blue jay with bright blue wings, tail and head. The Spanish also call this a magpie and they local guides who can be heard shouting through most of the film make the guns shoot the blue magpies as apparently they taste amazing! Hope this helps. Jonathan

+Shooting Photography by Jonathan M McGee Wow they must have hundreds! I'd never have guessed they actually meant magpie as in the bird, can easily imagine how damaging such a high population can be!

+Giles Mowlem Its very odd isn't it Giles but the magpies of Blue Jays thrive over there. I've a whole one in my freezer ready for taxidermy, stunning birds. Jonathan

+Shooting Photography by Jonathan M McGee I guess the huge numbers of partridge create similarly huge numbers of eggs that sustain such high populations. I imagine they are, most jays look great, always think it's a shame they do so much damage to nesting birds because they're great birds to watch, always seem very clever. Giles

I really don't like this. A lot of the birds look like they are flying on wounded, rather than dropping stone dead. Doesn't seem to stop the spectators whooping, though...

These birds are not so difficult to take down because they are coming straight although they are far. The difficult shots are the crossers.

Those screw in chokes, look a bit out of place, on such a classic game shoot, do not mind the attire, it beats me , how he can swing that pair of Krieghoffs , weighing a TON, anyway.

@JonathanMMcGee8 жыл бұрын
+robert james Thanks for your comment Robert. These guys are great fun and their is always great camaraderie between those shooting. As for audiences with most wing shooting in places like Spain and Argentina there is always someone loading and someone else counting your birds. Thanks again. Jonathan
