No, Toronto is a far cry from New York City for gun violence. We get right on top of it and will hear about arrests once the gang units conclude their investigations. Police know the gangs involved in Toronto gun violence and we will hear arrests and charges laid in due time.

Wow, I know these buildings....I know some people that live there! Not a great neighbourhood but so many families, elderly, disabled. It is a real community. They treated me so well when I worked garden maintenance on the property a couple years ago. Gave me and my partner water, money for lunch in the plaza next door. Really a great community in there!!

Mr. Trudeau appeared on television and said, "I am going to make Canada safe. I am going to take firearms away from those who use them for sport at shooting ranges, with licenses obtained from the honourable RCMP." His cabinet members stood behind him, nodding in support. He continued, "We have worked very hard to make Canadians safe," and again, the cabinet members nodded in agreement. But then you turn on the TV and see that criminals are out in greater numbers, shooting and spraying the city with bullets. When the police catch these criminals, they find out that they don't have firearms licenses, nor did they buy their weapons from any legal stores. Automatic firearms are not allowed in Canada, and those who have licenses to purchase firearms cannot obtain automatic weapons to use against civilians. When the police write their report, I doubt Mr. Trudeau wants to see that the shooters weren't cleared by the RCMP. I don't think he wants to read that report. Because now, they might have to stand in front of the cameras again, nodding their heads again while looking at each other. I have one logical question for this TV station. I ask this kindly, respectfully, without judgment or criticism: How is it that this channel, which reports on these events, sends reporters to investigate and interview witnesses, yet doesn’t take their findings to Mr. Trudeau and say, "Sir, the criminals who are tearing at the fabric of our society are not licensed sport shooters who went rogue. They are actual criminals. Canada is not safer-it’s getting worse"? This is a serious question, especially when the contradiction is so clear. Isn’t the role of the news media to expose lies and contradictions? Canadians are honourable and level-headed people. Am I asking the wrong question? Is this a question that shouldn’t be asked? Is it not serious enough? Does asking it make a citizen who loves their country seem like they're doubting the government? Is anyone else out there asking this simple, logical question? Is there something we don’t know? Who is hiding the answer? Is it the news? The police? Mr. Trudeau? I wonder how those with firearm licenses feel. I have nothing but respect, regardless. I just want to ask a question I already know the answer to.

Over all there is great community there. I am really shocked at this story. It was never a great area in the City, but there are great people there at Chalkfarm.
