I do love the lamp, but not there. It is so similar in size to the vase and so white. Maybe try it in another area. I think too many things on the entry console are about the same height. Amd the vase and lamp are too similar and really take up too much volume. I'd use one or the other. Maybe add a small fall piece of art too. Just my professional opinion.

I can't tell you how happy I was to see your smiling face! Congratulations on the 15 yrs. Hubby & I celebrated, well not really a celebration but 45 yrs. In May! I read some of the comments in your last post & was afraid the mean girls discouraged you! Don't pay any attention to them! Geeze your home is a work in progress & beautiful! I need to change the settings on my phone. (The only place I have internet access, we are in a small rural area & they say we can't get a signal.) Because everything looks black & white. Hey Crystal! First, you look great! Wherever you went, I want to go there! LOL Love the rug in the kitchen....it looks perfect there! The lamp...well do you remember the Kirkland's buffet lamp you used to have with the black wood base and linen shade? Well that one may be perfect there. Kirkland's also has another version with an iron base which is pretty. I bought two of them awhile back for my guest bedroom. Both lamps have a rustic feel which would fit with the rest of your decor. Anyway, a buffet type lamp which is tall, and has a smaller width may be good there. The barn pic is the perfect choice for that spot. And yes, what you have on the bench is enough. So happy to see you back! Happy Anniversary to you and your husband! 🧡

My favorite decorating videos are when you talk through things - what you are thinking, why you like or don't like something. I feel like other you tube videos that decorate plan the decor ahead and just "magically" put the right things, in order left to right, top to bottom. I know talking through a whole room may take too long in a video, but a specific space seems doable. I know you want to keep kids happy but, in reality it is so much better to cut way down on sugar! Sugar tastes good but it is destructive! Try to give your kids healthier alternatives; you won’t be sorry and they will actually take pride in putting healthy food in their bodies. Love your beautiful home! 😉

I love the curtains. They add a warmth I didn’t realize was missing until they were up. Definitely add them to the other dining room windows.! I’m not a fan of puddling curtains that are a heavier material. But you do you, it’s your home!

Happy belated 15 year anniversary! I love the barn picture ~~ it looks great in your entryway above the bench. I must admit that I am not a fan of the lamp and the vase on the console table. I think the scale is off and with 2 larger sized items it just looks crowded. I think one of these items on the table is perfect, but 2 is too many. Just my opinion.

Do you use the lamp in the entryway? If not, it looks fine with the candle sticks. As long as they have candles in them. Having two "lights" on one table is a lot. Loving your new style. I feel like a lot of us were sucked into the farmhouse style and its hard to escape it 😅
