the tiles do look very nice and easy to install. Another benefit to the thin plastic material is that you could if you wanted, cut slats and make a tile look like an AC register instead of having the white registers.

Well, I have to say a wet stained ceiling tile is a very good indicator that there is a problem that needs attention! The problem!once investigated may or may not be an emergency,but it’s good to know sooner than later!

How many boxes did it take to complete the job? How many tiles come in a box? What was the estimated cost of the job?

I actually WANT to see that water damage staining - it's the easiest cheapest most reliable way I can think of to tell if there is ever a drip compared to water sensors, climbing up and checking everywhere with a flashlight once a year (?), or worse yet, waiting until something really bad happens like the ceiling tiles gives under the weight of a big pool of water from a 9 month drip.

Don’t like using old grids

The project is in this video is DIY friendly. Designing, cutting, aligning and hanging a whole new grid is going to scare off most DIY'ers.
