While my SPR set up with an 18 rifle gas Bartlein and 3.6x mk5 is by far my favorite rifle i own, i ordered one of your 12.5s that i plan on throwing everything from the SPR on(try a 2-10 as well), to see how much ground i can make up vs the 18in. My handloads in that rifle are sitting at 2740 with 77 S/TMKs, and im curious how much of the incredible capability of that rifle really has to do with the extra velocity, and how much of it has to do with the excellent optics, proper precision stock, TT trigger, and extremely smooth recoil. Will it be as good at 600-800y? Absolutely not. But i have a feeling that it is going to be close enough that the advantages of losing 5.5in, and the weight that goes with it, will make a compelling package. Also grabbed one of those Uintah bolt actions in 6arc at 18in to play around with, under the idea of carrying that around and throwing it on when the opportunity presents itself for far more 600-1100y effectiveness. Be nice to have that extra 10k PSI to play with over the gas gun as well. Look forward to hearing guys explore this realm more. Long live the SPR

Really excited for a potential 6mm ARC barrel from Triarc. I'd like to see more companies make parts for AR's chambered in 6mm ARC.

I really wish the owner would bring a BUSINESS expert onto the team, with all due respect and sincerity. There are thousands of people that would buy from this company if the products were available in stock. Do you understand how many millions of dollars you are leaving on the table by having an 18 month wait for rifles to civilians. PLEASE expand to meet demand. I want to see this company stick around.

16 in is a good barrel length for SPR, especially if running a suppressor. I ran a 16 in w/ 77 gr OTM at a 3 gun comp at the Rock in Kentucky w/ my SOLGW rifle and I got good hits at 500 meters w/ a 1-6 optic. The guy I was with (retired SF) was getting hits at 600 with a 16 in and 62 gr AGUILA FMJ ammo. 16 inch is the best overall barrel length IMHO as a civilian.

Can you provide any data on velocity difference between the 16 and 18 inch barrel, and what types of round are you running? You mention 55gr xtac, would love to know what types of velocity you are getting with MK262 clone stuff.

I like Triarc and they clearly put out some high quality videos, but Chris and team often seem very uncomfortable on camera. There’s a lot of hesitation in what’s said because they’re thinking too much. Maybe a few dry runs would help. 🤷‍♂️👍

Would love to get a number of their builds, but I’m not in the business of lending money (i.e. giving money before they have an actual product to give me=paying and waiting 12-months+) Reminds me of the custom knife business (tons of stories of hot companies getting so backed-up it becomes a huge problem. Then some go out of business and folks are out of the $$$ they paid) It also gets a bit old when every GunTuber seems to have one of their builds but every “average Joe” who wants one waits 12-months + (and by the sound of it, if that person calls in to find out the ETA, they aren't treated respectfully) .......I understand marketing, but it becomes poor marketing when consumers can’t get them. And even more insulting when new products (that take 12-months to get as well) are being brought out and you can't even keep up with what you have on the books (I know business is not that simple...I own one), but it is bad optics and lessens brand respect. You (Triarc) should do what Occam Defense does: They get parts for 30 builds FIRST....then they makes 30 rifles for sale(first come first serve) with customization....they build them in 2 months....... and do it all over again.

I would say this has to do with the fact that gun tubers are in an industry of it's own. So yeah they're marketing their wares, but they're also marketing media content and trading in literally, attention. I could be wrong because of course in this case I think gun videos are de-monetized by KZbin, and I don't think they have sponsors on this video so idk.

@@drownthepoor Exactly, It's definitely marketing. It has just turning into poor marketing now since they can't keep up (I would call a 12-month wait not keeping up). Now their builds are all over You-tubers but no average-Joe can get them. Then when folks call them on it, they respond with "We are a small company" excuse. Now its like seeing a commercial for a restaurant every day....but there are no locations in your city. Looks delicious, but there's not one around........
