I think because, until fairly recently, there wasn't a ton of content being put out. Only 22 videos this year and almost half of those are in the last month. This new Chelsea who is putting out content regularly is going to get a bunch of new subscribers I bet.

I didn't realize bc wasn't that old if a company. I bought a set back in 2009 or 2010. Was definitely impressed with the support/service even back then. And cost of replacement cartridges. Hell, they were like $100 a corner if I remember right.

Maybe it's because I don't do any motorsports crew work anymore but I REALLY enjoyed these shop tours and going through Taylor's cars on the lift and stuff. You could easily film a few a day of all his (and other pals) builds and release a few cars a month on schedule. Drift cars, daily driver's, tow rigs and trailers.

I'll be honest... I've always viewed BC as sort of a budget coilover that wouldn't be that great compared to say KW, AST, or Öhlins, which is still probably true. But if I ever build a drift car, I will seriously consider them for that type of application. This was a cool video 👍

Its all in how you set it up. The BC product is more flexible than a lot of those other listed brands, so getting something tailored is easier to access with BC.

Does BC still do semi custom stuff for random people? They make a kit for my car that's front rack McPherson and live axle a lot like a Fox but I want to go true coilover in the back.
@michaelallen25012 жыл бұрын
It saddens me that BC doesn't offer a single product for my car. Hard to find any love for the 93-02 Camaro and Firebird owners. Even though the car in stock form was leaps and bounds ahead of a Foxbody or SN95 ;-) But seriously though, they're pretty basic. SLA front and solid axle rear. No upper bearing required. And these are starting to get more popular. A guy out of Cali builds angle kits and handbrake setups for them.
@Vgk362 жыл бұрын
No suspension can help those cars.
@michaelallen25012 жыл бұрын
@@Vgk36 lmao, not even close to accurate bud. They hold many championships in autocross and have a superior front suspension to literally every single McPherson strut equipped car out there.

@@michaelallen2501 I'm shallow. I'd rather be 2/10's slower in a better looking car. 69 camaro it is not.. Hells newer zl1 1le looks 10x better than that era. But I digress.

@@estebanlopez5496 there's literally no better bang for buck car on the used market than a 99-02 F-body. But cool story.

@@michaelallen2501 BMW's e36 e46 I don't really see your f body have its own series. Even miatas have their own series. If it was that great the people who pull their wallets out to build cars that compete in something more serious than cones in a parking lot would be scooping these up.
