Hey Amy, thank you for your videos. We love them. I was wondering how you freeze your coffee creamer? Do you put them in there in the original container or do you put them in anothet container first? I have been shopping at Publix most of my life and they spoiled me for other stores. I am so determined to shop Aldi though because the prices at Publix are crazy. I only go there if they have a great BOGO happening. My biggest struggle is Aldi meat.

Have you tried Cabot cheese? It is naturally lactose free and tastes just like regular cheese.

"Hard cheeses such as cheddar, colby, Swiss, mozzarella and Monterey Jack “are virtually lactose-free,” Cifelli explains. Additionally aged cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano are virtually lactose free. At less than 1 mg lactose per 100 grams even the Italian Ministry of Health allows it to be labeled as such." I guess I assumed all cheese had lactose in it. Maybe he could eat hard cheese after all? Not exactly sure what they mean by hard cheese vs already shredded.... something to ask his pediatrician I guess.?

We do the large Hormel meat n cheese tray from walmart ( 13.98) for lunches when trying to save $ while traveling.. 2 feed all of 9 of us with a little left .. and I call them large family lunchables

Publix has a ton of BOGOs (buy one get one free). That’s what they’re known for! The deals are really good especially if it’s something you can’t get at Aldi. It sometimes ends up being cheaper than Walmart! I used to work at Publix in South Carolina so I know all the things!! I also wish our aldi was that nice! They seem to have a ton of different things! Very nice!!

I know how it feels me and my younger daughter are lactose and my husband and son can't gluten my two oldest daughters can't have eggs. So hard to make homemade freezer meals and desserts and more that is lactose free and gluten free and eggs free.

Wow! That's a much bigger ALDI 's than the last time I saw one. The one I saw last was 4 aisles. No sweets, no brand name pop, just your most basic items. They had just starting having a few fresh produce choices. Mabey onions ,peppers, apples. That was in Indiana. Now I'm in Idaho and there are no Ali's at all.

If its just lactose problem Cabot cheese is naturally lactose free but you'll have to slice the block yourself . Philadelphia cream cheese is plant based i havent seen lactose free an the best one was strawberry taste most like regular cream cheese. Nurishh is a lactose free cream cheese but does contain dairy .

I used to live in Georgia, and I miss Publix SO much! I agree on the prices, unless they have bogo sales. That makes it a little better. Their subs and they're cakes specifically though are THE BEST, and I haven't found either of those anywhere up north or down south that I like better! My wedding cake was even from Publix!

I love Aldi! We don’t have one in our town but there is one in Savannah and every time my husband has a doctors appointment there I take my cold bags and stock up! I agree that Publix is expensive but I did buy a sandwich from their deli and it was delicious and a very good price. Their veggies seem fresher than Subway. I’m curious…y’all don’t drink iced tea?? And with all you cook and bake I’ve not seen you make biscuits or scones? I don’t like to fry food either because of the greasy smell. Ugh! We do fry fish in an outside fryer. You could do fried chicken like that! As always I enjoy all of your channels….thanks for sharing and encouraging! ❤️

I find aldi very good but has got as expensive as the rest of the stores hear in Ireland 🇮🇪 our food Bill's have gone up and up because of the war in Europe well that's what's what's there blaming it on .thant god my kids are all married now but i pity them trying to. I will be doing old fashioned turkey dinner for thanksgiving and old fashioned Christmas dinner for Christmas. We vote what we were to do for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner we all voted on an old fashioned Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. We vote on 1950 Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Now I have to look at my husband's Amish family recipes for the recipes for the 1950. I have his Amish family recipes that go back to the 1700 and my mennonite family recipes that go back to 1700 I am writing all the receipts out on my laptop and making my three daughters all the Amish and Mennonite family recipes for a Christmas gift so they can put on their hope chest.and the recipes will be passed down.
