Same! I’ve had my rambler since the 90’s and picked up one with nickel hardware last year. I think I own 7 coach bags? My oldest is from the 60’s. You just can’t beat old coach leather. They’re built like tanks! ❤

I found both Pradea totes with the belts stunning and much, much nicer than The Row, which I find at times too shapeless or plain. I particularly thought the little tote with belt clincher at the sides far superior to The Row Margaux. Even if it looks almost identical(!!) it holds its shape better.

I agree with you, I’m not loving what I say so far I’m Prada of this spring! There were a few items of clothes that were OK but nothing that blew my mind like it usually does. When you first show that Prada bag, I immediately thought it was a knock off of The Row’s Margaux bag, too. That big has definitely grown on me. I’m surprised you didn’t go into Loewe store.

Thanks for your thoughts on the Prada collection, Michele! My first reaction when I saw their “version” of the Margaux bag was, wow, that looks a lot like the Margaux bag! I’ve been looking at those and seriously thinking of getting one, and my preference would be to get The Row’s version because I really love their soft leather, and it does come in a variety of size choices as well as colors. ❤

I decided to skip the row bags after my friend got one and it lost its shape relatively quickly . when she tried to resale it , the row bags don't retain any value, she sold it for nothing

I actually find those flower prints to be very Prada. They sort of reminded me of the fairy prints and flower prints from collections in the 00’s. . And the worn in Barn jackets and Barbour bombers. Definitely remind me of RAF’s affinity for bombers and outerwear. actually, the barn jackets, worn in the spring, 2024 show, are really cool imo.

I will say I don't get the hype around their nylon stuff. I am also glad that the only bag I bought was a Galleria which is kind of a Prada staple? I love their footwear, though! Especially the sneakers are so cool.

Love going shopping at Prada. I like a few of their RTW you showed us, but lots of times they don’t have my size. The Margaux bag dupe is cute but you’re right they should have added an exterior pocket or something to make it their own.

Yup, saw that right away about the "dupe" The Row bag. Could not find it on their website (Canada version). I would never consider it as an alternative with that big gold logo on the front. I really enjoying your Vlogs, Michelle.

The Margaux’s come in a few sizes because there’s a 10 for example. I got a 17 and am in love with it. Which is strange because i’ve been a mini bag hoarder for so long

Hi Michele! I have the 17inch Margoux bag, and I love it. I was always a "label" girl, but looking at Chanel, and other top designers was so unimpressive. The quality has gone way down through the years. I would rather have a quality bag, and the Margoux does it for me. Enjoy your trip! ❤

What a fun shopping trip! Thank you for your honest feedback. I liked the Prada shoes but the prints and colors of the clothing seemed off to me - not my preference. I have a collection of Hermes scarves and they hold their value, but other than the scarves and bracelets, I don't buy anything else there. Even though some people may not love Louis Vuitton, it is my favorite. When I am in Las Vegas, that is where I spend my money. Their prices are more affordable and lots of styles to choose from> My daughters love Louis Vuitton too even though they can afford more expensive brands.

I did see a gorgeous grey pleated skirt at my Prada on Madison Ave NYC and the windows for Spring are so alluring. I, too, find the belt bag interesting. I actually liked the "Barbour" jacket. I found that the crystal sheer blouses had Brunello Cucinelli vibes. I really like the Margaux bag, but it is too overplayed now by influencers. I may get the Devon or handheld Sophia bag if I can get them in a grained leather. BTW, if you go to the Diana exhibition please vlog ....

Thanks for taking us shopping MIchelle! Was great to see everything! I think that Barbour coat is trending right now, similar to the one at Toteme. That last bag you showed I was like "what?!! did they copy the Row Margaux?"!! I actually was eyeing a shoulder clutch like triangle bag with the chopped off top. I think you mentioned it once. It's black and gold shiny with a gold clasp and looks so cool but I can't get over the price. For me Prada is sometimes hit and miss esp when some of their prints are a bit strange. They do basics and denim styles well. I still like their shoes but preferred their old sport line when they collaborated with car shoes. They are less comfy now unfortunately so have been buying less of their shoes. Love that you are covering Prada as i feel their styles are more every day and cut well. Regarding Hermes ...yeah the atmosphere is always so "tense" and a bit suffocating...it's always refreshing to go to a more happy store...usually not Hermes Lol....Tx again for sharing this shopping vlog! I understand your lack of enthusiasm to buy in Vegas. I waited to get my designer items when we went to Kyoto in December. I ask for the Japan exclusive so can have something special. Gucci came through with Japan exclusive wallet and scarves. I missed a Japan exclusive Gucci backpack in 2019 and I will never do that again. Also got the Kyoto exclusive Hakuhodo brush set! Besides the European designers, I love Japanese design brand Samantha Thavasa. She has some awesome collabs. I picked up a bag back in 2018 at Sky Tree in Tokyo, but this year was thrilled to get a Disney Winnie the Pooh collab bag.

The Row bag’s strap is not adjustable while Prada has an adjustable strap. That would make me buy the Prada over the Row Margaux. Of course I would like to see them in person to decide.

Prada is doing a Barbour/carhartt coat collection this season for sure if you saw their runway with the goop coming down from the ceiling. Prada pieces change from store to store and those pieces looked even off the runway collection. Imo I love Prada but feel they way overproduce product these days

No, Michele, the exchange rate is NOT in the US dollar favor. Unfortunately. Dollar is cheaper than euro by almost 10%. So if somehting costs 1 euro, you will pay 1 dollar 10 cents.
