Customer service means everything to me! I had full intentions of purchasing a bag at LV once and because the SA there was the most rude I ended up leaving with tears in my eyes. Also the pressure to purchase is real! Because you can’t just look around anymore.

I will just never understand why they’re rude. Because to me a sale is a sale. Being mean and losing a sale or being nice and possibly getting sale. You imagine a “high end” experience to be nothing less than luxurious and welcoming but totally not the case sometimes smh.

I try to not allow poor customer service affect me. I always keep in mind that SAs work for the brand and just like in any other organization their are some employees that are just disgruntled. If someone is not helpful I ask for another person to wait on me. The employees work there usually because they need a job and I shop there because I have enough disposable income to do so. While a negative attitude is not pleasant, it’s their problem not mine.

Omg!! I totally had the same experience in LV in my area. I was looking for a specific item for my aunt and the guy who helped me is very awk and condescending. He wasn’t mean but the vibe is super off. He didn’t even introduce himself or tried to be friendly. I felt a little embarrassed because I feel like he was judging me that I can’t afford the item? But anyway I told myself if I’m ever going back to that LV and I see him again I will ask for another SA that deserves my commission or just go to another lv store lol It’s just sad.

100% that’s why I left! It’s like fine I don’t want to give you any commission. I never understood why they give attitude it literally only hurts them. Because a sale is a sale. And if you’re friendly and professional they’ll WANT to come back to you! I’m so sorry you got treated that way too esp with LV I feel like their customer service is a hit or miss.

Love your videos, that is my biggest fear of going to any luxury store but especially in the Beverly Hills area. I use to work in that area years ago and one day on lunch a coworker and myself walked around Rodeo Dr on lunch time just browsing and went into one of the stores and they literally gave us the death stare like you cannot afford to be in here and get out look. They followed us around the whole store. Smh. I did want to go to the Dior store on Rodeo Dr last week to purchase something small because it was sold out online. But my anxiety got the best of me so I found a location in New York and purchased it over the phone. Its sad you have to go to that length to spend your hard earned money on something nice for yourself. The sa that helped me over the phone was super nice. I will probably just do that from now on. I would like to one time have a nice experience in store but who knows what type of sa I will get. Love your purchase. Happy New Year!!

I feel like when these stores are busy it becomes a numbers game and if certain SA's who judge people by appearance or age look at you and think you wont buy they will try and get it over with so they have a better change of a sale to the next person.

Do not feel bad. The situation not only happed to Parada store. I had same bad experience with Dior when I purchasing a 30 Montaigue bag. The sales not friendly at all. I wear not going back to the store again.

I had terrible Prada experience in the aspen store as well! Went to store twice well before the store is supposed to be closed and the door is locked and rejected me... Tried the other time and waited 15min to be attended by a SA... there are literally sales walking around, saw us waiting and walked away. Eventually this is their problem not mine and should no means affect yourself

I work in retail and it makes me mad to hear stories like yours.. an SA shouldnt treat a customer like that.. I always feel intimated going into a luxury store cause of bad customer service lol! But I also don't tolerate it as well since I do work in an environment dealing with patients and I sure don't treat my patients with an attitude where I don't want to take care of them. Some employees don't really want to do their job unless they make money off of their customers its a shame that they only look at that.
