I totally concur about the feeling of disappointment in the Moynat leather. I checked one out at Fashionphile's showroom and was expecting it to feel amazing but it just didn't. Their mini bags are super adorable and the hardware/closures are so inventive but sadly the leather feel just isn't there for me.

Yeah it was pretty disappointing! I do love the look of them, especially the clasp, but...

Moynat used to have more leather variety, especially for their Gabrielle line. I own a BB in box leather which feels incredible, but I agree on their embossed leather which feels slightly cheap. At least they are still impeccably made.

Have to disagree about Valextra vs Moynat. I have 2 Iside bags and a Rejane, and the Moynat is leaps and bounds better. The Valextra leather is flimsy and hence the Iside starts to get a sag and annoying crease about 2/3 of the way down. Unfortunately, no companies that I know of make exact fit for bag organizer that would help with this. Maybe my Rejane is older and the leather is different, but the craftsmanship blows the Valextra out of the water. If I could do it over again, I would have skipped buying those Iside bags entirely.
