A yellow blob on the watermelon means that it stayed on the vine to ripen longer so theyre the better ones to get. Darker means they were picked too soon!

I also found this.Tricks to Tell if a Watermelon is Ripe The green color becomes dull. On striped melons, the color between the stripes gets darker. The rind will get hard. The blossom end will soften. They will stop getting larger. The ground spot will turn from white to yellow.

@@naturalsimpleliving I didn't know that about the stripes. It's great to learn from each other 🥰 On another note - I always wonder how the juice you buy in shops stays 'fresh' for so many days. If you make a homemade juice it goes bad by the next day: What are they doing to it so it stays drinkable for so long? Freaks me out a bit! Ingredients dont tell the whole story about the ultra processing. What do you think? ❤

Definitely get your produce from the bottom box. Usually it's fresher and has a longer date on them. They're trying to sell the older ones first. But they do need to get rid of the bad ones. They say that the yellow spot on the watermelon should be a good one.

My husband's uncle had a California orchard for Avocados. He said the Avocados don't start ripening Until They leave the tree. Just an FYI.

When my children were young I bought all clean , sadly as they became teenagers and went out they would opt for complete junk, Ugg. Now they are in their 20’s and my girls eat cleanly. Hopefully, my son will see the light. Great job !

Why do I see a lot of costco and Aldi hauls in your channel? Is it going to be a haul channel now? no other content? Im confused how many times you go to come costco or aldi in a week since theres a grocery haul uploaded daily. Mmm maybe also just open the blackberry cases and see if its good or not but no touching coz maybe whatever we have in our hands will remain in those produce and cause them to go bad even more or something. We never really know. Maybe in the fields or in packing centers they can do that but maybe not for us consumers especially if we're not gonna buy it. Thanks

Our kids were not allowed to pick up things without asking! Opening the berries is not nice! Who wants fingered berries! Laying on displays is crazy! The store must not be too happy! If they got hurt then the store would be responsible! Our kids got taken out to the car if they misbehaved! Shopping is not party time! Teaching kids to respect items and people is very important! A bunch of wild kids are not welcome! Well behaved kids are welcome! My mother used to tell us there are a lot of us so show respect and don't be pulling or touching stuff!
