Located in New Richmond, Wisconsin (44 miles East of Minneapolis). It's full of beautiful antique, vintage and fun retro décor and collectibles! So much to see--LOADS OF BLENKO and EMPOLI ART GLASS, and MORE HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD FURNITURE than we'll ever see in any other place--we're convinced! Just can't express the eye candy here for everyone and at great prices!

We've enjoyed thrifting and antiquing for vintage MCM furniture, lighting, kitchen dishes and fabulous accessories to use and decorate our home since 2005. Our home is constantly changing as we find better, more fun vintage items at antique and thrift stores in MN and WI. So much glass and furniture, two of my favorite things to look for. I love it when I spot something that I have in my home. I also love that you usually show the price on the tags. Hi Rob! That is so awesome of you to buy the tiki items!! You must have a great collection then--very cool! We were actually just checking out there, with some great items of our own, when you called and reached John! We were so excited but of course, we didn't know who was calling. I had just been out in the hall there with Veronica and said to her, "Wouldn't it be great if someone were to call and say they wanted to purchase the tiki shadowbox?" I no more than said it as we walked back in and you called!!! So fun--thank you so much for giving them some sales ;-) Norm also thought to himself, that someone will probably want to buy that because it's so cool!! We are so glad to have discovered their shop, but disappointed that it took 13 years!!! Thank you so much too, Rob, for continuing to watch our videos and commenting. It's really been fun hearing from you. We don't recall if you ever told us where you live. I seem to recall that you have been to many of the antique shops that we frequent. We figured you might be from WI when you called there and said you would pick it up today. Anyway, we were very happy if our video brings them more sales and they are happy to. They are really a great couple and others that have been there (from WI) have said the same in comments to us. Also, when we got there late morning to do some shopping, the phone rang and Veronica answered it. They said they saw that set of figurines from different countries on the first shadowbox that we showed. Another great video. Peggy and Norm, you two are awesome! We loved the pitcher and glasses Norm showed at the beginning and towards the end (I think he wanted to purchase them) There was lots and lots of beautiful brightly coloured glass. An amasing store! Love that ametist big decanter wirh stopper. And that beautyfull orange(my favorite color) leaf pivotdish. Stunning glasspieces. That Empoli long stemed reminded me of a pineaple. WOW! This place is right up my mid-century alley. What a collection of cool. The best place anywhere in the area, that I've never known about. My wife and I had a king size water bed in our 20's. But we lived in California and didn't need a heater.

I’m so enjoying seeing all the lovely things! But my most favorite part is kitty visits ❤️. I wonder how in the world the owner keeps them from knocking things over! A cat’s favorite thing to do is knock stuff off of tables. When my late husband and I would travel and would go into antique shops if there were kitties there I was always drawn to them and would spend time loving on them. How funny. Life certainly has its themes. Its funny how one person finds something at the samevtime many others do, too. I just went to an amazing MCM store in Ohio. You'll have to take a look. The one I went to had lots of furniture and museum-like vignettes. The angels at your store were great! The choir boy candle holders were amazing. The cat may have been the best part.

It's really nice of you to tell us your name and that you live in WI. I just wish I could keep track of everyone better. I'd have to start a database!! We were at the shop yesterday (buying goodies) and the phone started ringing with requests to buy items seen in our videos! We were elated for John and Veronica to get some sales coming in right away. They were very happy too, of course, and excited over the possibilities. I just wrote to Rob, one of our kind viewers, and he called just as we were leaving to request that they hold the big tiki shadowbox for him to pick up today!! Isn't that great??? Another call came in too for the set of figurines representing different countries in the first shadowbox we showed!! It was so fun to be there when that happened. You can tell we're a tad excited for them, right? We drove from their store in New Richmond to a small town, Chetek, to another antique shop that afternoon (a little over 50 mi.) and just couldn't believe how gorgeous the hilly countryside was! Just stunning, even in the brown month of March. Amazing!! Regarding having our own network--you are so funny!! We are just a couple of real old-timers (trying to hide lots of wrinkles), and amateur KZbinrs. We'd never make it this late in life on HGTV, but so sweet of you to give us that much love ;-) The end of this month is one year for us now--hard to believe! We certainly do have a lot of fun looking at wonderful vintage things together, and especially tend to like retro cool stuff the most. We are truly happy to know that being 'silly us' is entertaining to such a great bunch of folks out there. We are truly blessed to have found a way to share our joy with others. It's been a lot of work for our old brains to learn all the details to make a decent video, but it's very good to be challenged and keep our brains working! Tornados left us in Alabama it’s tornado season now, waiting for the roads to dry out than I can go treasure hunting.I love those swag ceiling lamps but my husband won’t put any hooks or holes in the ceilings😔I’m looking for a nice table for a 5 tier hand carved koa wood Lazy Susan I scored it deserves a spot with the hand carved vases, cups, and teapot.I cleaned it up it’s goregeous.Your shops looks awesome over there.I like these tag-a- longs.👉😁👉👍

Another great trip. I have the green storage glass jars at 6:06 in the video. I just bought a set of 3 this year in early March to go with my ST Patricks day decor. I left one out to go with my Easter decor...it's so "Springy" I would say they are from the 70's. Wouldn't you say?

Hi Trena! Thanks so much for watching our videos and writing to us! Yes, we sure did ;-) There was so much to show that we have to do a second video on the other half of our time there that day. We went back yesterday, in fact, to do some shopping! The first time there, on the 13th, we bought a gorgeous black and gold lacquered/mirror glamorous shadowbox by Turner, and two vintage pottery turquoise swan planters, a tin toy cowboy on horse, and a retro gold metal shelf. Then went back to video the store, a week later. Yesterday, we went back and bought the green/with fruit canister set; a very tall stemmed, optic designed, gold art glass piece by Empoli; a chartreuse long Leopard TV lamp/planter (will be shown in 2nd video); a retro Harvest Gold blender for the kitchen counter; a tiny art glass Santa in his sleigh with one reindeer (3 pieces); a vintage Hull green Swan planter (big sized one); the large 24" ornate plastic Syroco Key plaque (Hollywood Regency style). I think that's everything. Yup, we spent quite a bit there ;-) Then the wonderful owners, John and Veronica, gifted us with two items that we were going to purchase on the day we did the video, that was an Ohio Art Recipe Box and the darling Valentine Heart Box with the genuine Mink Kitty lapel pin!! They insisted and we thought that was so very generous of them. When we were there yesterday, two calls came in requesting items!! The first was from South Carolina asking for the set of figurines representing different countries on the first shadowbox we showed! Then another kind viewer, Rob, called and asked them to hold the tiki shadowbox out in the hall for pickup today (plus he bought more things)!! We're so very happy that doing the video can potentially bring some sales to them ;-) Thanks again, Trena, for watching and being in touch!
