Hi Veronica. Nice haul. Love all the Halloween goodies. I started using a gallon size freezer bag for my compost. Keep the scraps in the freezer, so it doesn't start smelling or attract critters in the bin. Take it out the night before your pick up day, that way food isn't sitting in the compost bin all week. TFW Janet! I started with that, but they don't want plastic in the yard waste container, just paper bags. We don't throw a lot of waste because it's just us two so I just use a small paper bag.
