Why are such a large number of you interesting in Shopify app development? Do you have an idea for an app?

@@CodewithChristheFreelancer No I do not have an idea for an app. But not much of design guy. like more the backend. I work as a ruby on rails dev.

I don't think I have design chops so I don't see myself working with themes and frontend all the time. obviously as a developer I have to work on the frontend at times, but it is not something I enjoy. I don't have an idea for an app at the moment but does not mean I cannot find one later.

Three reasons I can think of: 1. Faster 2. More cost effective 3. The client is not passed around (speaks to one person)
