Does your TV have standby?
Does the LED light in the front of your TV light up?
Does the front LED blink?
If so, how many times does it blink and what color is the light?
Have you tried plugging the TV into a different outlet? To be sure you don't just have a blown breaker at your house, or wherever the TV is plugged in.
Is the outlet that the TV is plugged into turn on or off by a switch?
Go ahead and give out customer service department a call or you could leave a comment below this video with the details of the symptoms that your TV is displaying.
Please be sure to always include the TV model number, brand and any other information about the TV that is necessary.

Hi. I have a RCA 42" plama tv screen that no longer works. Model # 42PA30RQ. When I attempt to turn it on, it makes the normal "turn on click", but then clicks 2 more times, the led light remains blue. Omg thank you! I have sylvaina and it randomly started having issues. The green light at the bottom would blink then stay a solid green but the tv wouldn't turn on nor off with the remote or panel. I was panicing and getting so raged about it and read a bunch of stuff online nothing was working. So i seen this not really expectimg it to fix my problem. But literally the first thing you suggest i i tried and it worked dont really understand how though. I had it plugged in a extention cord with my ps4 and i just simply switched around thr plugs and it worked fine. Didnt change the specific outlet my exyention cord was plugged into. 2000 mitsubishi 60" dlp tv, model # vs-60607. tv won't turn on. green light will come on then off, i hear clicking noises from the back of tv, i took cover off, pinpointed where the clicking was coming from, it's from a black cylindrical part with a wire attached on top of it, that wire connects to a black rectangular/cylindrical part with 3 wires attached at it's top. are these parts blown? however, i pressed the menu and input button to get the code, the green light would blink twice, then pause, then blink twice, then pause for a total of 5 sequences. i searched net for code 22, all i found was "power overload", but code diagram did not offer a solution. should i wait about a week or so with everything unplugged to let it de-energize itself and then try again? i have already waited bout 2 days with this method and still getting same effect. called some local tv repairmen, they have not called back. please help? thanks.

I have a 10 year old Toshiba DLP THeatrewide 65 in. I have replaced bulbs several times and thought it was the bulb again needing replacement but bulb isn't blown. It looks foggy but is intact. TV wont' come on, blinks 1 red, followed few secs later by 9 greens, Shuts off and repeats same. Red firstm then red on plus 9 greens ,shuts off. Hi Jimmy I need your help. I have a 42 inch LG LCD TV manufactured Dec 2013 model No 42LN575V-ZE.BEKYLJP Serial No 312MAHU4G353 Other No’s 3D2D003B (559/1300) The red on light led just flashes, no picture no sound no clicks nothing. I have a Mitsubishi ws65613. Picture bowed down at top, tolerable so I let it be. 7 months and it shut down. Push power, green light comes on for 2 seconds and tick, green light goes off and unit powers off. I replaced both IC convergence chips and noticed a scorch on board. Ordered 2 ferrite bead line filters and replaced the 2 scorched beads. Dusted it off and reinstalled and still green light comes solid when powered on for 2 seconds and powers off again. I believe schematics would point me at 2 resistors that protect the board should chips fail but all caps and resistors appear solid and are not bulbous or discolored. I could buy a used board but worry the problem is on any of the other 3 boards... like power. Any ideas?

I have an Etec model 40E850 which started having issues with powering on. I called the technical support line and stated to the phone assistant that it would not turn on with the remote or by the manual switch either. She asked if I had tried another outlet. I had not but did and when I tried the remote to my surprise it came on. I let it stay on for a few minutes and then turned it off with the manual switch, to ensure that it was still functional. I checked a few apps on my Roku and it seemed to working fine. After about ten minutes of being on when I wasn't watching anything, the screen went blank and I attempted to turn it OFF with the remote, but no cigar. Unplugged and let stay idol for a while and tried it again but no success.....

Hello, my friend gave me a Vizio D40F g9 with no remote. I was so excited I got home plugged the tv in pushed the power button on the back of the tv and the only light on the tv was at the very corner it was blue it came on and then faded out;. I looked and I could see a red light only where the opitical connection was. I cannot even hear it turn on. I was reading a comment about a fuse. Pn51d450a2d Red stand by lite stays on. No response to 3 different known good remotes. Touch pad neither. Red kites stays solid. I have replaced main board and tcon board same problem. Then I replaced touch pad still same. I did the test jump with the jumper on the tcon board and on the power jumper and the tv comes on and goes thru the color adjustments , seems like a good tv. I have a Phillips model 32PFL6704D/F7 SN YA1C0945002439 it has no sound no video all that appears is a red blinking led on the front and it blinks one long blink followed by three short blinks then it repeats again and again. I have looked at the power supply board and there are no visible bad caps. I suspect that it may have suffered a surge even though it was connected to a surge protector because we experienced a thunderstorm and it started the led blinking after that. I was not at home during the thunderstorm so it may be a fluke that it just happened. I like your videos and glad to find your services are available to repair boards.

so I have a Mitsubishi television model wd-65738 and I replaced the lamp cartridge in it. and I now know my first mistake was that I ordered it through Amazon and when I put it in the screws wouldn't reach like I couldn't tighten them so I replaced them which was probably my second mistake but when I plug it in you can hear a motor come on and die down and then the error code comes up that I need a new color wheel or that the color wheels bad and it is a 2010 TV is there really worth replacing the color wheel I mean it's not that expensive

hello i inherrited a 65" v1210 smart tv (Model No. / E65-E1) and it is not turning on. i called their 1-800 # and tried resetting the tv but didnt reset and told, ("me no warrantee to send out to tv repair shop."). anyways, i plug in the tv and about 30 seconds and the "V" insignia comes on the screen however the no power light that maybe around the frame and i also no LED light (red light) that sits in back of the tv next to HDMI outlets . Hi, I have Grundig interntet TV 55" LED FullHD 700Hz without tunner, I just bought it and when I opened it and plug the switch in socket it showing nothing just like dead no standby lights. I have also check the socket by using my laptop, printer and mobile chargers it is working even with altogether using extension. So I do not know wether it is power supply problem or what. I have a 2012 42" Led RCA. It usually will not turn on unless I disconnect the power cord a few times/ switch the power surge protector off and on. Then it will sometimes turn on and play for hours without any problem with the remote working perfectly including turning off the set. It has great picture and sound. Sometimes the set can be turned back on right after turning it off and other times it will not. When I disconnect and connect power source the Infrared Sensor light comes on and when I press the remote on button or try to turn it on manually at the set the sensor light goes out and the set usually does not turn on but will occasionally. I disconnect power a few times and it will thereafter often power up either by the remote or the manual on switch. What could cause this?

Samsung TV #UN39FH5000FX2A: Hello, When I turn it on, it won't go to channel 3 where I have the Cable TV hooked up. It goes to channel 2 and has snow everywhere. When I push any button on the remote It shows 2 and if I push another button I get 22 and so on 222. I've tried to use the buttons on the TV and sometimes I am able to get it to channel 3 and then I get normal TV, but then it goes back to snow and once again channel 2 where I no longer have channel 3 and Cable TV and get snow again. Hi, i have an olevia 342-b11,plug it in,led(standby) comes on,power button on tv front or remote power does nothing,after 10 to 15 seconds the led goes back off,then nothing,must use power switch by the power cord,or unplug it for 30 seconds or so,then get the same results,also,if plug it in,led lights(standby) and do nothing at all,the led still goes back out after 10 to 15 seconds. a tech on fixya said it is most likely the main board,after opening up the tv i see most of the caps on the secondary side of power supply board are bulging,do you think this is the problem or is this another problem? i have ordered the caps already since this needs doing either way. btw,the part numbers are: tv=olevia 342-b11 model code :FM1-042000E-S09 main board SC0-P501210G000-NP07 psu board FSP271-4F02 (rev1)

RCA 46" LED LCD TV / Model LED46C45RD. TV does not turn-on. Red standby LED is illuminated on lower right hand corner of screen. Red light goes our when on button pressed on the remote or TV side controls. Problem started a few months back, requiring repeated pressing of on button... but TV always would turn on after a dozen or more times pressing the on button. Today, TV does not turn on at all. LG lcd tv model: 32LK310-TA, No power indicator, power supply ok with all the voltages: 24v,12v, and 3.5v comes on when Power supply is switched on independently, when connected to main board it does not switch on to give these voltages apart from the 3.5v which enters the main board, and on the main board the important required voltages like the 1.2v, 1.8v. 3.3v and 3.5V are present after regulator ICs. ONN model ONC50UB18C05 would not turn on one day. TV is 3 years old and has worked perfectly until now. The red LED in the lower left lights up and goes out with both the on/off button and the remote. When off, it will blink when buttons on the remote are pressed, showing that the IR from the remote is being seen. No backlight. Nothing visible with the flashlight test. I've seen advice that the EEPROM could be causing this. Not sure how an SOIC-8 chip with a serial interface could cause the TV to not power up. Doesn't this chip merely hold the setup and channels? Shouldn't the TV, if it can't read the settings at least provide some indication or trouble code? Replacing this SOIC-8, as it is tiny, would be quite a task without a hot-air setup. Is this a common symptom/repair scenario?

Hi. I have a 42 inch Bush LED TV model No LED40127FHDCNTD! Tv was on the wall and then took it down in order to put its stand back on and put it on the table! After i have done that, the tv cannot turn on whatsoever. On a normal day the little red LED light on the bottom right corner is on when the tv is switched off and then when u turn it on it flashes for a while, goes off and then the tv switches on! Now, everything i just described still happens, but the screen stay completely blank and i cannot do anything with the tv! Tried reseting it and everything and still doesn't work! You can even see the internal while light inside the screen switched on but no display!

Hello! I have a TCL 50FS3800 50-Inch 1080p Roku Smart LED TV (2015 Model) that I'm seeking help to repair. We were away on vacation and when we returned the TV's front white standby light was constantly on and the TV was unresponsive to all activity. I replaced the batteries in the remote, used the built in controls and it remained unresponsive. I followed the trouble shooting steps for doing a hard reset and a power cycle, and still no change. I thought that the issue was a faulty power board so I ordered one and intent to replace it, but wanted to see what you thought about my assessment and plan for resolution. Thanks!!!!!

Pioneer Plasma elite pro-507pu Blinks blue 13 times. Seems like its trying to turn on with only 2 relay clicks at first, but nothing happens and the blinking begins. I just ordered a new power supply yesterday from your site due to seeing somewhere that someone had the same issue and they replace the main power board to fixed it. On the X board I do see a cap that is starting bulge, so I may replace the cap (if the power supply doesn't fix it) since you are currently out of stock on the x board. If you have a better idea on issue please let me know. I will provide an update once I replace the power board. Thanks

Does a Mitsubishi WD-65738 dlp TV have a fuse? If so where can I find it? My house was struck by lightning and now my TV, blu-ray player, dish network box and A/V receiver won't turn on. But my Wii, Nintendo switch and lights all seem to work fine. So I figured the fuses in those items may be blown. Thank you

I've got a Panasonic TC-P55GT30 plasma and yesterday it wouldn't turn on. Tried taking it out of the power strip and plugging into a wall outlet and still nothing. Everything else in the strip is working. No lights coming on in the front. Month ago there was a power outage that destroyed my pc's power supply which was plugged into the same power strip. Don't know if that was related because the tv still worked for a month after that. Can you tell me which part is bad or which ones to check and how?

Hi, I have a Proscan PLED2845A and it will not turn on. We don't have the remote. The light on the front is red, and when we press the Standby button, it used to turn blue when it turned on. It no longer turns on at all. No blinking lights. Outlet is fine as other items plugged in there work fine. We've tried unplugging and plugging back in. Driving me crazy. Thanks.

Hi sir. I have a 10 year old Samsung un55f6350af that WON'T turn on. Standby light is on(steady). Checked fuse with multimeter =good. Emerson Manufactured June 2013( year old new to us) Model No: LF320EM4F. whizzing sound when turned on, no lights, no screen powder, no stand by lights. Hi my tv is a sony brava kdl 32e x401 and it will not turn on. There is no standby light no light blink or anything. l have tested that there is power getting to the tv set. We did have a bad storm recently where our other TV went bang and our internet modem was broken with a surge in power or something similar and had to be replaced. Please suggest what else we can try. hi shopjimmy love your videos :) i got a tv problem. the model is philips 40pfl5505d/f7. the TV was struk by lighting. all the other components on the same power stripe were all hit too. DVD player VCR AT&T receiver box were all fried. i assumed the tv could be repaired cause the screen is not cracked cause i fixed a few tvs myself. it has no standbylight even when it worked. just the model with no nstand by light. i have replaced the power supply with a used one but still shows no power all... what could be the problem? used a tool that beeps.and and a light turns green on it when its next to power. shows everything is recieving power... any help would be great. thanks!

my sony tv is blinking red light. it is an older projection tv. i have fixed in the past by changing the lamp...usually last a few years. i bought and replaced lamp in november. it now has a sizzle sound. .. Didn't sound good... Do i unplugged it. No picture... Just red light flashing continuously and periodic sizzle sound. Any suggestions? Its big... Bulky... But i like the 60 inch screen.
