Chrome Hearts clothing is just merch for the real offerings of jewelry and leather work. If you look at it with that lens it's easier to understand. I think the core brand is silver, leather and wood, they are getting popularity through their merch because its a more obvious flex and also more accessible than their jewelry. I know you'll disagree, but I think the merch is not what has kept the brand alive and relevant all these years, it might account for their growth atm but I think the silver, wood and leather will sustain them to the end of time.

They actually give you a worker as a companion in order to help make the overall experience better. A lot of the workers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting told me a lot of cool background about the company and pointed out small intricate details about the store that I hadn’t even noticed like custom chrome hearts hinges and handles. Most of those crazy pieces you mentioned are custom order pieces, and if they aren't custom order they are extremely exclusive and usually given first to the regular customers. Rarely are they in store.

I’ve told people countless times that the t-shirts, hoodies and hats are all just cheap merchandise for the true leather and silver products. It’s sad to hear a sales assistant putting so much focus on the worst part of the brand
@jaydubs63545 ай бұрын
Agreed. Tbf to the saleswoman though that’s literally what 90% of their customer base is these days. Hype beasts who graduated from supreme/off white/balenciaga and want the next coolest and exclusive brand that their favorite rapper is sporting. They show up and throw a few thousand at the loud and colorful hats, t’s, and hoodies and they’re on their way.

@LOWluxury2 жыл бұрын
Haha, glad to give you some peace of mind - I think there's a lot to like there if you know where to look, but they're building the hype on the most disposable crap, which is pretty disappointing. If you look at the wild stuff they post on their instagram and whatnot it looks like the coolest brand in the world, but going into the store and seeing what people are actually buying is definitely kind of a bummer.
@micahvolpe28472 жыл бұрын
My biggest gripe with Chrome Hearts is not even their t-shirts and sweatshirts but the quality of those items. They are printed on 1oz trash. Literally the worst quality I’ve ever seen. If they were to just use better blanks I’d be at least fine with it. I visited the Vegas forum shops location recently when I was there for the when we were young emo fest and the regular t-shirts that were on display were printed on WAY better and thicker (at least 10oz) blanks, and they had leather tags. That would make the $300 price tag WAY more reasonable so I’m really hoping that that’s a permanent change by them. It’s too bad your first store experience was so weird. The Vegas shops are the only ones I’ve been to and you don’t need an appointment so I assumed all the stores were like that. I would’ve definitely felt way more on-edge if I had someone walking me through every step. The Vegas workers are super chill they literally just let you in, let you know they have the magic keys if you wanna try anything on, and leave you alone unless asked. I even take pictures every time I’m there. Blatantly and as many as I want. Never gotten asked to stop.
@LOWluxury2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've heard this complaint a lot and I have to agree, I was not impressed by the blanks in Miami. They felt kind of like Gildan to me, just bargain basement stuff. But I'm also wary to criticize brands for that because it's so subjective. These days it seems like people are really into the heavyweight, rough, "vintage" style blanks, whereas my personal favorite t-shirts are from ERD and Rick Owens who are pretty well known for their paper thin shirts.

@dbaoTV2 жыл бұрын
Definitely interesting to hear your perspective on your visit! I will say that the Miami store doesn’t have as broad of a selection to properly represent everything the brand has to offer. For example, the NYC West Village store has the tshirt / hoodies / hats relegated into a closet sized room instead of an entire second floor like Miami does, and the majority of the rest of the store is dedicated to RTW, jewelry, and other more unique items. I’ve actually grown to become friendly with a few SA’s in different locations, so I actually find the whole appointment situation to be a lot more relaxing and enjoyable, and I can’t ever say that I’ve felt pressured to buy anything. That said, I do get where you’re coming from if you aren’t used to it. And yes, they definitely are very “Chanel-like” in that the majority of their best items are sold to clients before they hit the floor, kinda like how you’ll never see a classic flap on display.
@Leon-qv3jk2 жыл бұрын
Also visited Miami a week ago, Same think with the appointment happed to us and someone we met in front of the store, besides this I really liked the store and piece selection, especially the jewelry. Also had a very nice and funny salesman

The stores really aren’t for their core customers because they don’t have core customers. They have core clientele. Glasses and jewelry are their ‘novelty’ value products for the general public. T-shirts and sweatshirts are the poor people items. The custom work is where it’s at. But most of us cannot afford that. Those that can tend to be celebrities in music, movie and fashion industries.

It’s a mix of Ed Hardy and The Buckle. That being said…in this country right now, certain groups of garbage humans will do what’s called a “smash and grab” They do it at high end stores. Usually you hear about it in Beverly Hills all the time. These leeches are even know to drive cars through the front window at Nordstroms. It’s so pathetic. Anyways, I guarantee that has something to do with no door and a security guard. This is what our country has come too. Anyways, I would never wear Chrome Hearts. It’s not my style and I can’t afford it BUT Jesse Jo Stark is a really good singer and makes decent music, believe it or not.

I can’t fathom how this is allowed when exits are required to be operable by anyone in the case of an emergency. As for the private SA - Hermes does this as well & its really meant to help.
