But it's not organic food here...many of their foods are the processed and pesticide kind so how much are we saving here? We gotta pay the farmer or the dr so how are you justifying this when this channel creator also reported on the toxins found in oatmeal...I know he did this vid b4 the oat vid but still - this is a lot of garbage foods. Yes - you can save bucks on toil paper and paper towels and tissues, etc and a few foods are OK here like some basic staple goods like alkaline waters & distilled waters, and coconut oil, a jar of mustard OK, but most the non-food products are the best here like parchment paper to bake with, zip lock bags and garb bags, etcbut not much as you gotta watch all these garbage foods that are marketed to the poor ppl who can't afford organic YET you go to the dr and take their big pharma 'cures' that most often make you sicker! Hello! PS: also - the dollar tree is better than dollar general b/c they are all $1.25 vs most prod's up to $5 and up.

Have you heard about the possibility of Dollar Tree stores raising their prices from $1.25 to $1.75? Saw it on Utube today! 😮 Sadly I don't think there's anything they sale worth $1.75, many of us will be looking elsewhere for groceries and regular items, so start getting what you need while prices still affordable!

Hi Danno, Wow I've only noticed Lawry's seasoned salt here in Los Angeles county at the grocery stores 😮 Seeing chili powder and was it garlic powder @ DG - I'm interested for sure 😊 This triggered a thought about Lawry's: Back in the day, I used to eat at Lawry's Prime Rib in Los Angeles/Beverly Hills? and their Prime Rib was absolutely the very best that I had ever tasted! Not to mention the Chefs wheeling their huge silver carts directly to your table and asking how you wanted it cooked. Loved the cream spinach and the Yorkshire pudding served with the meal. Once seated and ordering a drink, the server would wheel their cart over with a huge salad bowl on ice with all the trimmings in smaller bowls around and make the salad up in front of you pouring the salad dressing several feet above the bowl while spinning ❤😊❤😊 The 2 football teams that play in the Rose Bowl/Pasadena on New Years Day are treated to their Prime Rib dinners at Lawry's each year 😊

Danno, there is a new Dollar General Market at Indian Lake. It's so nice but you have to watch that you're not being over-charged on some items. They got into trouble for that in our area (Dayton). But happy to see the Market at the lake! It will come in handy this summer.

Well, Danno, these prices don't impress me one bit. I know I won't be making a special trip to go to Dollar General any time soon. All the prices on the items can be found at other stores, and I stock up on sales which beat most of those prices. For instance Kroger has Campbell's Chunky Soup on sale for $1.49 and even twice has been 99 cents in the last few months. Kroger always has Stouffers on sale for a lot less. To go to DG to save 25 cents on an item is just not worth it. The store does not appear clean and well organized either to me, and seems to be slim pickens on many things. Thank you for sharing this!

PA must be different than OH Dollar General. I’m getting some great deals at our $1 isle. Dish soap, bar soap, brand tooth paste, body wash, candles, toilet paper (4 roll) napkins, wet wash cloths that are very nice & different kinds of beans deodorants. And bleach (generic) same size as Dollar Tree. Also, different canned good items. If I can save a few dollars here & there it helps with the gas prices. Gas in PA is $3.80 & keeps going up.

Hey Danno, the majority of DG's here in the Illinois Metro-East area of St. Louis are a disaster. Most are undermanned and most stock is in carts waiting to be put on the shelves. On top of that, the stores are generally dirty and disorganized, which is why I try very hard not to shop there. By the way, I was in Aldi's yesterday and discovered I would not be purchasing any eggs. I looked up at the price of a dozen eggs and the sign said... $2.78! What's with that? Are your Aldi's stores in the Cincinnati area price gouging too? Keep your great videos coming.

I was in Aldi last night in Eastern NC. Eggs $2.78 here too! Sugar down to $2.85 from $3.09. I spent $76 for about $$50 worth of groceries 😢

Dollar general keeps the stores understaffed and overwhelmed. The employees do try, but the customers do a lot of damage to the stores you're talking about. Theft is severe as well

$2.78 for a dozen eggs is not bad at all! It's not even 25 cents per egg. Candy bars are more than that! I guess it's all in your perspective. A couple eggs makes a good serving of protein. I don't think 50 cents or less for a serving of protein is bad at all.

Prices seem to be crazy everywhere. We're fortunate to have this Dollar General as it is well maintained. Our Aldi has seen increases but still some of the cheapest around.

I love the DG digital coupons. But I wish they had a card instead of punching in your cell number. I shop the good sales with those. Usually detergent, fabric softener etc. and the other DG dollar aisle. Always look through that.

I used to get great deals at DG And would stop in often. They had good deals on cleaning products, but that stopped. Their produce has become very low quality at the DG Market near me in the last 10 years. They used to have low-priced, if lower-quality, canned goods, but they jumped about 5 years ago. They had good and unusual freezer products, but no more. I have not even dropped in in some time, as it is not clean, and the restrooms, which had been the nicest in town, are horrible.

I agree . My often charge more at the register than the price on the shelf. I haven't shopped at mine since they reopened last September when the health department closed them for 3months.
