My Iris patch has most definitely grown. I need to start thinning them out. I will probably take some down to my daughter this fall. My husband hates driving through the mountains so we’ve limited our trips to one a year which makes me kinda sad but if we wait until the fall I won’t have to worry about my gardens being watered, just the house plants, because if we drive down there we’re most certainly spending a couple of weeks if not more down there. 🌷💚🙃

I think that I finally have my problem solved with my seedlings dampening off. So far they look great and I can’t wait to be able to move them outside to harden off. We’ve had frost warnings twice this past week I’m really hoping my nectarine and peach trees didn’t get nailed. The apples haven’t started blooming yet .🌷💚🙃

I got a few new lily bulbs and I planted them in wire baskets in the ground because I have underground critters now that like to eat them and I love fragrant lilies. We will see how they fair growing in those mesh bags. 🧐🌷💚🙃

Hi Jeff! I always enjoy going plant shopping with you, and shopping with Turbo was a bonus! You got some beautiful plants. Love the willow, hibiscus and bleeding heart! Actually, love everything you got! ;-) I want to find one of the bleeding hearts. I had one of the old varieties years ago and was always disappointed that they didn't bloom longer. There are two types of bleeding hearts. One is the old-fashioned bleeding heat. It dies back in mid-summer as it doesn't like heat. The other is a fern leaf style. I think that is the one you picked up. I have one on my south facing patio, but in a section that gets late day shade. It will bloom all summer. Enjoy.

GREAT plant haul! I have kokopo's in the landscape. They are short cycles and usually will flower and fruit in half the time as other edible varieties! GREAT FIND! The fruit is one of my favorites. Its an orange flesh banana variety with a dense texture. GREAT BANANAS!

Love the ghost honeysuckle. I had one for a few years, but it got sooty mold every year and was too much maintenance having to spray. I finally just cut it down and got rid of. Watch for this on yours, hopefully you have a newer resistant variety.

I live in Oregon and scotch broom is sooo invasive here. Our road crew ppl are kept busy pulling that, blackberries, and ivy. Lol dont even get me started on the allergies they induce! Haha i will say, the invasive scotch broom here is yellow, and those peachy blooms are pretty.

You know what I saw at the nursery and thought about your planters? Trailing Rosemary. I thought, oh, those would look good in Jeff's planters. I don't know why they had it here going into summer because Rosemary does not like our summers, unless you stick it under cover where it isn't getting drenched every day. I love those mini Vincas but they do not grow as well here in the summer as the regular. I planted them a few years ago and they burned out by July.
