The cheese balls! I can’t 😂 Our Trader Joe’s was the same! They also gave every customer a paper towel that had alcohol on it to wipe our hands if needed. They had meat and produce stocked, no flour or baking mixes though.

We had to go to Costco Friday night - only 1 pill left in a prescription. We haven’t been since they started letting small groups of people in to shop. I called to ask how long to fill the Rx....only 30 minutes! We were prepared for chaos. We decided if it was crazy we’d just pick up the prescription and go home. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to walk right in. The aisles were not crowded. We were able to pick up the few things we needed except distilled water. No line at the pharmacy and no line at the checkout. I told the cashier I loved the space....I am sorry for the reason for the easy shopping experience....but I agree with you Katie, it would totally be worth it to keep this practice once we are over Covid 19....and we WILL be over this one day soon!😊💕

Thank you so much Katie and Spenser for taking this seriously and showing everyone how to do social distancing the right way. I really appreciate you showing the grocery store. I work at one and here we still have a bit of panic buying. We get deliveries every day but they have to distribute it to all the stores so we are not back to normal yet. If people just buy what they need we can get back to normal and the limits will come off. We do have the spacing on the floors and the reminders over the intercom system but they don't limit the number of people who come into the store at one time. The stores are not going to be closed we are an essential business! Be patient and it will get better everyone.

Thanks for being here. I went to Safeway today to get some stuff and it was the same thing. I'm in Sacramento. And like you, everyone was super nice. I waited in line, maybe 5 minutes to get in.I'm in the high risk group but I felt safe. They were wiping everything down. I SO appreciate our grocery store peeps. Times are surreal. I needed Ole wraps and was only allowed 2 packages per visit, so I got back in line. It was surreal. I wish you were closer. I think we like the structure more than we think we do. A friend and I went to WinCo first thing in the morning and they were pulling anyone over 60 out of line to go in first. It was wonderful to see && we only stood in line 15 minutes. Everyone understood and it was a calm vibe as well.

I had to do my final shopping trip yesterday. Still no tissue but I had a homemade mask and gloves and took a fresh pair of gloves in my pocket to change and sanitize after I left the store. I was out yesterday and my grocery store was well stocked. A vast difference from last week where all the shelves were empty. People were very nice and respectful. Didn’t see any hoarding like in the past weeks. Only getting what they need. Right now I’ve been able to do some work from home. Don’t know if that will continue next week. It’s week to week right now.

My mom works at WalMart in the evenings to restock shelves and they get two big trucks of goods each night which is not usual so the stores are stocking up there is food so that is good...

We have tape on the floor in most stores. The grocery stores reserve the first hour for seniors only to shop. A lot of the banks request you make an appointment before coming. Most everyone is in good spirits, respecting the six feet suggestion.

I hope Washington stores catch up to the level of precaution the stores in Cali are taking. I went to the store yesterday and there was only tape separation at the checkout. No PAs, no limiting number of customers. That was at a fredmeyer. Maybe I'll try trader Joe's on my next produce run. Cause my experience yesterday was very stressful.

They actually have that implemented in a lot of stores here in Reno. Like costco, Sam's club, and Winco. Not sure about regular stores. And ad for the mascot at my local trader Joe's I actually haven't seen it.

I was at Raley's (like a Ralphs) and I asked the cashier if they got new key pad machines because it looked brand new and he told me that they have been just cleaning them. That shows you how dirty those things are. Hopefully they will continue to clean the key pads after this ends.
