I love the tropical/botanical prints. I see it a lot here as well, but though I like them it's too much out of my comport zone to wear them, especially as pants. So I would go for the stripe one for myself but I love those flower pants. That lip cover you bought is really handy as well. Ohh my... I LOVE the wicker acorn bag!!!! If I see that one anywhere this summer it's going home with me hahaha I just love wicker things in general but this would be great for either summer or autumn..... There is a small wicker store in yanaka ginze close to where I used to live and I always love to see what they have and bring something home. Even if it's just a household good, I feel happy when using it. For myself I write down like the planner every week in the blank page of my date book/note book. but I have painted a door in my kitchen (we have a house we bought so that is no problem) with blackboard paint and i write down the week menu for dinner and simple notes on there. my husband can also write down things that has to be put on the shopping list. You can use a blackboard pad as well for this. It really helps out. Every time I se those jelly cup it makes me look forward to this summer. I just so much enjoy eating those jelly cups.
