Let's welcome back our Brother ASH!!! it has been so long since I have done a full vlog with him so thought while today we are shopping for his new car why not record our interaction with dealerships and each other.
Ash dropped me and Abbey to the airport last month when we went to the UK and after driving our BMW he has been wanting a European car, he has had 2 Japanese previously, Honda Accord Euro R and Mazdaspeed so this is going to be a great change.

Better to wait & shop around & if you find one he truly like please take to a mechanic of your own or bring the mechanic with you. Better to pay him $100 for his time instead of thousands in repairs.

Many reputable mechanics will tell you not to buy European cars because of the cost of parts, getting parts , problems galore. They do prefer Asian cars because they have access to the parts, etc. I have only brought Toyota because of that reason. So have a good think about what kind of car you choose and have a chat to a reputable mechanic not a car sales person

BMW is nice as brandnew but after a certain point very high maintenance costs so be prepared for that. Honda and Toyotas are most reliable and lower maintenance costs.

Hanji family! We would recommend Ash to purchase 2-3 years mechanical warranty with the car also as touchwood they can be expensive to maintain or replace when things go wrong 🧿 Toyota, Honda and Nissan for sure are the top in reliability

Yes I was going to mention getting an extended warranty. Once it expires though that is when it gets $$$$. Also warranty may not cover everything for example wear and tear. You will still be expected to adhere to a maintenance schedule. It also requires premium gas which maybe more costly and then you have to see the car insurance. His choice. He is young so has time to buy such a car. It is an asset that depreciates. He must consider putting into things that will grow.
