I bought that stove too, love it but strangely in the manual it say that do not use it with cast iron pans ....and I love my cast iron pans....

That's really strange that it says that. I use a cast iron pan on it. Maybe they are afraid of heavy a cast iron pan is?
@ychuen57532 жыл бұрын
@@SirCampalotOutdoors At first I thought that I can use cast iron pans up to 10 inches but nope, it is more related to heat retention..... I don't see that warning in any of my butane GAS ONE stoves....or butane Soto stoves.... so that's strange so a bit worried whenever I use it with cast iron pans.
@SirCampalotOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
@@ychuen5753 I think you should be ok. I've done my fair share of heavy pots and pans on that. It seems fine.

I just went there yesterday with my husband. We didn’t buy anything but both of the stove/grill are very tempting, one was made in Japan, the other one was made in Korea. Actually I want them both. And they were sold out online on their website. I think I will have to go back to the store again to get at least one of them. The whole set of the one made in Japan is $345, the grill one with an iron cover is $275. Very nice stuff! Even just for backyard barbecue/grill fun!

that's my plan too, inside of buying a big back yard BBQ grill AND something for camping... just use the deluxe camping fire pit and grill for both camping and at home 😄

Love your videos! What do you think of the stove so far? I'm trying to decide between this one and the Eureka SPRK. Love how compact this one is but worry about it's stability... any insight is much appreciated!
@SirCampalotOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I assume that you are referring to the Home and Camp Burner ( amzn.to/3lbqSgm ). It is really stable on table surfaces in my time of using it. Opening it takes a few times to get used to but it is fast once you are used to it. The only negative thing that I can think about this burn is it will not fit pots/pans that have a slim profile. I have a Stanley (amzn.to/3ldDxj5) and I can't fit it on this burner.
@jackdaw77512 жыл бұрын
I have the home and camp burner too. I haven't had any issues with stability even on not quite flat/even surfaces. what really got me is that it's designed to use indoors and out so you can do hot pot at home with it!

btw is this stove good for overlanding camping? like in outside use.
@SirCampalotOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yes! It’s great for overlanding. Very compact!

Also, it is made in Korea.

안녕하세요? 시드니에는 스노우피크 매장이 없나보죠? 저희도 저희 주에는 없고 옆 주로 가야해서 3시간 걸리는데 그나마 만족해야겠어요! 시청해 주셔서 감사합니다^^

is small fire pit ok for 2people ? or should i go for medium ?
@SirCampalotOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I would get the medium if I were you. The small is pretty small. However, if weight is important then get the small. These fire pits are heavy for it's size due to quality steel.

Don’t get the small one. Even the large one is not very large.
@aafgahfah2 жыл бұрын
Pro tip: although even the large one is not very large, if you get the “floga” which is the smoke-inhibiting guard that runs around the top, then it becomes absolutely huge and can take a massive amount of wood. I’m camping with this set-up right now.
@SirCampalotOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
@@aafgahfah I agree with you. The large one is perfect for 2-4 people.

Was very excited to visit this store bc of you. But with Portland being a ghost town- I felt like everyone is just on edge. I was followed around with my girlfriend in the store. Beautiful store, but uncomfortable experience.

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. That's really odd behavior of the employee/s working there. They usually are not very engaging unless you have a specific question. I hope you have a better experience next time!

@@SirCampalotOutdoors I've spent the past few years outside, in WA State, in tents I've both designed, and bought. And reality doesn't edit like these videos. Few tents survive real-world conditions for more than a weekend. For the price, Snow Peak should. I know of gear for half the cost that will.
