GM from Maryland ☺️! I just had an exciting plant shopping day at Lowe's this past Sunday. 50% off of plants that I knew only needed a trim and some water. I also got small plants which were very full and colorful as well for under $7 tops. I did spend full price for curly snake plant. My spider plant has stopped dying. Seems it just didn't like any sort of water, regular or distilled. Now I mist downward everyday and she's not yellowing or browning. My fern is the same way. Now I'm on a mist kick. Obviously that's all they need to be happy in my environment, who knew 😱😱!!

Wow so many big plants. I definitely would have bought that Raven ZZ i am on a hunt for a big one with those thick stems. Now i only see one that is called the ZZ Nova but the leaves are more dark green than black. Also your husband is always so happy going plant shopping with you.

what a great greenhouse!! they obviously put a lot of time and care into their displays and i was super impressed with the tidiness AND good prices. also i love your videos because you can tell you've worked at a nursery by the way you handle plants lol. most plants aren't that fragile. 😝

Looks like I need to plan a day in Temecula. By the way, in Temecula, you need to plan a day at the Glen Ivy hot springs. They also have a fruit stand/farmer market near by. If you haven't gotten any, they have these orange out there, Temecula oranges that I think are the best oranges I've ever eaten and I cannot find them in the LA County area.

Ooo I have not come across that fruit stand, I’ll have to check it out!! Thanks for the recommendation🥰 Love it here in Temecula. The citrus in the area is so great from the farmers markets 💜

If you’re super into specialty citrus, keep an eye out for Kishu mandarins, they’re like not much bigger than ping pong balls and soo sweet and seedless!!🍊🥹

Those Thai Cons were probably props from the same mature vine, which is why they're all mature by the 7th leaf! Your lil baby's mother was probably much younger than their mother 😊

I believe you have better plants on the West Coast than the East Coast. IMO
@reallybigplant9 ай бұрын
The year round growing season in Southern California makes such a big difference for what becomes available in early spring! I agree the selection here is probably generally better right now. East coast is so freezing- I went to school in New York and those were some seriously cold winters! Although you guys get way more cool tropical stuff from Florida/South Atlantic states and you’re closer to the native home of North American carnivorous plants in the Carolinas 😄💜✨ Thanks for watching have a lovely week!😊💕🌿💜

Are philodendron hope, philodendron selloum and thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum all the same plant? I have read that philodendron selloum is reclassified to thaumatophyllum bipinnatifudum, I hope I remember that correctly. About the philodendron hope I've heard different things. One website says it's a cultivated dwarf version of the selloum, but that same website also claims it's the same plant, which confuses me. Do you have an idea?

The plant with 8 leaves might not be an outlier if it's a plant that is a little bit older (i.e. 2 weeks older) than the rest. A plant that is a bit older has more time to grow and can be bigger with more foliage. That is an older plant is possible and would explain the extra 8th leaf.
