what do fashion designers do on a shopping trip? why do we go shopping and how do we use inspiration,
as a fashion designer i get to travel the world with my job, join me on my latest trip to LA where i take in the local shopping scene, look for trends new colours and interesting shapes.
the most fun part of my job is the travel for inspiration, on these trips im looking for key indicators for the movement of new trends, i shop into these trends to create the looks so when i return to my office i can design into new garments, taking inspiration from fabrics, colour, shape details and trims that i have seen on my travels.
