One thing I've had amazing success with is Koyudo's fox brushes. They source the softest hairs on the market as far as I'm concerned. I have a few of the white fox makie cheek brushes and they're just so nice to use.

I’ve purchased many of the Eihodo outlet brushes and have had really good luck with them. When the sales on I always pick up some of them. Can’t beat the price!

Hi, I really appreciate your reviews! Last week I was looking for reviews of Tamage brushes so you must be reading my mind :). Would you consider doing videos on the following topics ? : 1. Pine squirrel brushes. 2. If I could only keep 10 brushes. 3. Brushes so good you got/would like to get back-ups of. 4. Brushes for days when skin feels very sensitive. Of course if you have time. Thank you for this very informative video, the golden fox brush looks stunning ! Can I ask why you cover the ferrule of your brushes with tape ? I want to know if that's something I should do with my brushes as well 😅

@Sunset and Moonlight You're welcome! The tape is for focusing on the brush heads in the videos :) no special reason in terms of brush care.

Thank you for sharing the details of each brush. I got Surratt candle but skip Z-2 based on your recommendation. Now I'm interested in your new candle. (Why did I skip that Eihodo candle? Why?!) Glad to know Eihodo No.330 paddle squirrel is soft. I really like the glossy short black handle. I found densely bundled eyeshadow brushes easier to use than sparse or overly tapered ones. It will be nice if I can take a side view of the Eihodo pine eyeshadow. Talking about pine, I found Mizuho PM-4 and MB-120 densely packed and preserve most of the hair oil. NYX blending brush is a shock to me, I found it prickly; Clarins blending is a much better synthetic. Do you think the Eihodo pencil is just an alternative to Z-10? Somehow based on your description, I feel golden fox is more suitable & functional in fu-pa shape. But whatever shape it will take, that's totally out of my league.

@王楠 You're welcome! The Eihodo outlet and special price brushes are great for the price. The pine squirrel eyeshadow brush works surprisingly well for not being dense. Nyx may have changed to lower quality synthetic hair then if it's not soft to you. Everything has been declining in quality and increasing in price over the years. I think the Eihodo pencil is bundled a bit differently from the Z-10 I had but it's the closest brush I could think of. The Eihodo has a denser body and is a lot more flexible. My Z-10 was pretty firm but that could be due to bundling variances. The golden fox Fu-Pa's are interesting looking! Yea the SSL CS hairs are softer than their WCS.

@@FudeKyun Thank you for the detailed explanation. It seems Z-10 is more tapered while Eihodo pencil sounds more like a Meringue drop. The SSL tamage F06 is nice. I should have taken it when it's still available. I got Hakuhodo S134 tamage, which is a thinner and sheer version of Chikuhodo Z-5. SSL F06 is a nice brush; I should have got it when it was still available.

I think I need to see if the Zuvmor Z10 is still available now! I’ve been looking for the perfect highlighter brush:) I’ve seen ones that are quite similar but I thought they looked too airy.. but based on what you said, it might actually be exactly what I need! Thank you:)❤❤❤

@PiXie232 It looks like Shou Shou Lang's Aliexpress store currently doesn't have much, including a lot of the Zuvmor African Rosewood Series 🙁. Maybe try messaging them and asking if they can restock the Z10? I know right, it doesn't look like a brush that could pack that much of a punch given how airy it looks but it actually works so well. I love it! I have a backup 💕.

And the SSL CS is too narrow & thin, can't be functional. I assume the hair is much better than the SSL WCS I got. My SSL WCS is very scratchy. It contains a lot of blunt hairs.
