hi ellen i have a question . do you first Email the client and then after that they book a call with you for further discussion??... Do we just have to send them a long message of our questions and things we need??? because a call develops more trust. btw i am a beginner social media manager thats why asking such basic questions.

It depends if you’re cold pitching or they are coming to you! Or if you cold pitch via phone or email. Everyone has a different process. I prefer email personally, it’s less intrusive for cold pitching. If you’re cold pitching on email however, they may not jump on a call if you just send a calendar link for example, you need a portfolio with your work first. But for this client, they approached me, so we booked a call first. Then after the call i emailed a final proposal based off the info they gave in the call.
