Situated in South Tenerife, this local fishing village provides an amazing backdrop for some delicious seafood caught locally just a few hours before its on your plate! This restaurant has also seen various celebrities visit including Football Players and even the Former Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel.

Thank you Scott for giving us an actual food vlog that doesn’t contain chicken wraps or value menu’s. Having lived in Tenerife during the 90’s we experienced all the out of the way restaurants recommended by locals, and it was a refreshing change to watch someone with your knowledge and passion for seafood relay the pleasure of a quality restaurant. Sucking the brains out of prawn heads is a culinary delight that everyone should try at least once. Garvey needs to get back to that Chippy outside Goodison where he will recognise “real fish” 😂deep fried covered in batter😂😂😂

I am not a fish / seafood eater but found this to be an excellent vlog. Scott is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the food he ate. The staff at the restaurant were also very nice and hospitable. Great music and filming Andrew.

Andrew this was a most enjoyable watch really enjoyed it. Ive been going to Tenerife since the early 70s . As a matter of interest our first fishing trip was from Los Cristianos around 69 / 70 ( we drove down from Puerto as no TFS then ) and the charter boat that we went on was the " SOFIA" WHICH !!! Is still running some 50yrs later, and can be seen regular in Los Cristianos harbour. Will be back in September so Los Abrigos is a cert visit..... cheers.

We Absolutely love Los Abrigos escape the madness of the tourism towns ie los cris , las americas and adeje loved escaping the African sellers just sitting in the town of Los Abrigos was paradise for a couple of hours a quaint little town/village watching the planes coming in amongst the Spanish residents just perfect 👍

I’m not a big seafood lover although I enjoy fresh anchovies, fresh sardines and prawns ( headless please) from time to time. This vlog was great though as I enjoyed listening to Scott explain what was what. He certainly knows his stuff.

I'm a real foodie and had some of the best seafood and meats I've ever experienced in tenerife. We hired a car and went to the mountains had amazing goat, rabbit, 90 day aged rubia gallegia beef, top class fresh seafood prawns were so sweet and fresh around the coast. Also iberico pork! 😋 I think since you own a car hire company it would be beneficial to show what treasures lay around the island. We did a tour and thought the North of the island was beautiful, real south American vibes. P.s head is the best bit!

I’ve often seen a fish served covered in salt. Been so curious to know what it is, and if I would like it - but I’m too scared to order and find I hate it!!! I’ve never been a fish eater until I met my wife - can’t get enough prawns these days!!!!! Cheers for the vlog.
