Totally love this guy, been watching for a couple years.
@davidharvey56725 жыл бұрын
Super video Graeme thank you. That ballooning of braid used to be my number one cause of crack offs when casting into the wind. The surplus line got blown back to the rod eyes. Used to only use mono into the wind.
@TAFishing5 жыл бұрын
Ah I see,now that is interesting. Two of us spooled up brand new braid to the spool lip(like you are not supposed to) as we were going for shore based Yellowfin Tuna. In the first few casts we both had enormous explosions of braid jammed in the rings.No crack offs as we were using huge surface poppers,but we thought it was the smaller butt ring on the rod not "coning" the braid down. But it could have been the head wind. I noticed we don't get it when we reduce the line on the spool. Always something to think about with fishing.

had one of my favorite days fishing off the rocks in Britanny with an old coarse fishing rod, simply used muscles off the rocks for bait and used my size 16 hooks and floated a little gully, caught a whole bunch of tiny Pollock and also what I assume were Cuckoo wrasse little ones that fought like billio for their size. tiny fish but great fun.

Going to take some earthworms next week down the beach and see what happens. Can't hurt to try it. Fishing from those rocks reminds me of fishing in northwest scotland a few months ago but I was going for pollock and mackerals. Did quite well. Great fun with small rod and spinners
@davidnieuwland5 жыл бұрын
The power isomé worms aren't rubber or plastic at all. Isomé is made out of a natural product, similar to tendon/muscle tissue that's why you couldn't rip the worm in half with your fingers and had to use scissors. And it's not the fake worm the fish are after it's the material itself. Even a very tiny piece of isomé that doesn't look like a worm will catch fish because of the material it's made of. Also Isomé worms are slightly hollow inside wich makes them suspending in the water.
