What a way to bring back memories of the Sapphire Coast of NSW. On holidays many years ago when I was introduced to “spinning off the rocks” for bonito and salmon. It was on the headland at Tura Beach and was using a silver slice lure. The only tip given was to cast as far as I could , let it hit the bottom, then wind like the dickens….You certainly knew when they hooked up. Used a lot heavier line than you Josh so I could only imagine how much fun these would be on the lighter gear. Thanks for another wonderful video promoting some wonderful memories. Unfortunately the rocks are the last place I would fish these days due to physical issues. Keep up the good work Josh and I look forward to your next video.

Always liked fishing but was a firm bait user, but since watching your videos I've not only renewed my interest but decided to really have a go at lures and soft plastics. Good video Josh , one thing that I do is upgrade the split rings and get rid of the treble hooks. Replace them with owner or daichi single hooks and your catch rate will increase , its harder for them to throw the single hook and they cant use the opposite hook as leverage like they do with trebles . The other thing you can do is tie your line to a mustad ultrapoint fastach clip size 3 or 4 and you can change lures super fast during a hot bite, I also use the same setup spining the beaches. Hope this helps mate from an old salty ! 👍👍👍

Tight lines mate! 🎣🤙

@Daniel-xc8nf2 жыл бұрын
@@joshdfishing Hey Josh, yeh I can only imagine when your jigging lures do you have to be in deep water? As for the bream yeh I'm in the same boat as you with the Grubz I've only hooked 6 bream on Zman Grubz, apparently though the yellow fin bream are more aggressive compared to the black fin bream that could also be why we aren't having as much luck using them. I've also noticed when you use the Grubz people say to have a bow in the line, but I've found it more helpful to have a right line that way you can feel the slightest bites. Tight lines mate! 🎣
