A quick boogieboarding vid I got from a DVD that came with my boogieboard that educates about shorebreaks, and shows two guys getting pummelled by them. I really uploaded this for the last shot XD

lucky you...i used to ride 6 years in morocco, now that i'm in france it's quite harder to go in the water often enough), and we used to had our copy from the wedge...wedges are the best waves ever for our sport!

Not quite - if it was a drop onto pure sand there'd be a LOT more dredging, and the wave would kind of buckle in the middle. The photog's just using a lens that makes it look like he's landing on the sand in the foreground. Still, there wouldn't be more than five feet of water at the most - he's hitting sand eventually.

All I ever ride now is shorebreak and even though the waves are big and powerful nearly every ride ends with a wipeout and it freaking hurts ! Can't believe that guy just fell like 20 feet off that wave onto sand lol.
