yeh, sanger was also his immediate go-to as new coach. his non-verbal communication really gives off mixed signals regarding how he feels about people most of the time. this is true across almost all of his relationships with other characters on the show except maybe dolo/goody/hitch and lara mahr. he seems to be pretty consistent with his non-verbal communication with them. always expressing the same level of respect and admiration with his non-verbal comms. even when making insults towards hitch the 2 times it's done in the first season, he's laughing while doing it. this is 100% unique from dialog with any other characters.

Not only the cinematography right? Look at shoresy himself. Even he has that same kinda character development. He's still the shoresy we know and love but since we get to see more of him he's also wildly different than what we know. For example this scene. Where we see the man responsible for some of the wildest chirps imaginable, Crying because his teams about to fold. I mean the line "please don't fold" you can hear genuine pain in keesos acting.
