The anti-trinitarian man would flee to other Bible verses to loop ultimately back to his anti-trinitarian heresy at the end of the call. He is locked into a spiritual thought loop. He will not sit still to recognize and to receive the truth. When someone is stuck in a thought loop and keeps looping back to it no matter what truth he receives, it is a sign of psychological deterioration. He has signed out. He knows something is wrong but he is too afraid to think about what is wrong, so he flees from verse to verse to finally loop back around to his heresy and finds a way to make his heresy right in his own mind since he is afraid of being wrong even though he knows he is wrong. Such a man often seems harmless and friendly but you can usually tell that once past a certain point there is something alarmingly wrong with his mind and soul, someplace off limits in his mind that he does not want you to see.

@@veganian2019 Who said that we did not agree with with Sam? Nothing in what we wrote communicated that we did not agree with Sam. We were describing the man's behavioral pattern. It means that you are aware of what the person is doing (1 Peter 5:8). What is bad, is being unaware and being harmed by what someone does. That is why it is good to pray to GOD for spiritual discernment, in order that GOD grant you wisdom to detect what people are doing (Philippians 1:9-10). Of course we agree with Sam! GOD bless.
