It's a very cool short, but it wouldn't work as a full fledged movie. It makes no sense. The guy would have broken his hand on the first punch he landed. He would have been dead on the first punch the robot landed. Hell, the guy probably would've been paralyzed at the very beginning when the robot rolls over the guy's back.
@AkalistosАй бұрын
@@elementblue780 *_"It's a very cool short, but it wouldn't work as a full fledged movie."_* Yeah, say that to Robocop (1987), Terminator (1 & 2), Blade Runner, Chappie, I Robot, Astro (Tetsuka original)... You get the gist. *_"The guy would have broken his hand on the first punch he landed."_* Depend on what the robot is made off. The harder the metal, the heavier it is. So, if he's made of a polymer, might not be that hard and would allow him to do flips like that robot that webswing as Spider-Man in Disneyland's Marvel Avenger compound. *_"He would have been dead on the first punch the robot landed."_* Ever heard of Asimov's BETTER LAW of robotic? You probably heard of the base one that, Isaac Asimov loved to use and find way to break it, and how easy they can be circumvented. The concept of the better laws are from the later novels to which other author added and refined. For example: LAW ZERO - A Robot may not harm humanity and their free will or by their inaction, allow humanity to come to harm. Now, who's to say that robot doesn't work under a set of well establish law, or moral code - like X from Megaman X series where Doctor Light gave his brain the ability to evolve beyond his programming and change but force a moral diagnostic that lasted 100 years before he could be release into the public - that made him just protect his family with the appropriate level of force without going full lethal? I would buy a ticket to see the full movie if they make a decent story out of it. Mmmm [Insert Imagination Fade sound] Giant human Cyborg: "I WILL CRUSH YOU!" Robot: "I can bend Tungsten. I can even lift Elementblue's mom. Don't make me hurt you and give me back Young Master Mao. Executing JETKUNDO.EXE!"

its overkills when a robot knows martial arts,,, it can easily overpower its opponent through its steel body...
@sigmacademy3 ай бұрын
True, but it might also be prevented from hurting humans - while the human has NO interest in preserving the robot from any harm. The robot didn't "hurt" the human, as the clip showed, it simply used martial arts to prevent another human from being hurt, so it still operated within its "preserving human life", while also finding a workaround to do so.
