Love this style. I just recently chopped my hair into a pixie cut long on top and do not want just the puff ball old lady look. I am 62 and very active and want to embrace my gray so this is how I am going to try to quit coloring. I just need to have my bangs cut a bit shorter so I can try this style. I love it and I am a very small person with a small face so short works good for me. Thank you so much for this tutorial.

Ellen Maher Hi Ellen! Just to encourage you to embrace your gray hair! I’m 63 and stopped coloring my hair last year and I absolutely love it! The right hair cut will keep your look fresh and young without the hassle of root touch ups every 5 weeks. Plus there are some interesting temporary hair coloring pastes available at the pharmacy whenever you feel like giving your gray hair a bit of punch. I will never go back to permanent color!

For the most part I think you have the right idea. The only change I'd do is not putting more thermal oil on after. It tends to erase everything you just did. Use more of the products that's intended for piecing out your hair. There are some great ones that aren't heavy at all too. And can last all day. Then use your finishing spay.

I’ve saved the Sienna Miller cut image for a long time! This is a fun tutorial for how to get that look. I happen to be able to do it with less work, maybe due to hair fullness. You can do the brushless dry with your fingers if you know how to direction it, that’s the key, and use good paste/piecing products. My mantra is always ‘up in back, forward in front’ just to remind myself of the direction. Thanks for posting!!

It seems as if you have left the KZbin world - but I truly hope that you see this comment. This tutorial helped me with my new cut, so, so much! Before getting my hair cut similar to this, earlier this week - I made sure to ask my hairdresser of 3 years, multiple times - to teach me how to style my hair. All she did was blow dry it all straight forward, didn't use any product and leaving the salon, I was (not visibly) devastated. I thought that I looked like Justin Bieber & was dying inside. Your tutorial helped me out loads. I no longer look like the Biebs - and my teens & husband love the style! Thank you so much. Some of us are seriously hair-styling impaired (this is me - plus, I have a muscular disease, affecting my neck, shoulders, upper back and arms, that makes lifting my arms up for too long of a time, miserable and keeps me in bed for 2-3 days afterwards. You've cut down my arms in the air time, considerably)! Thank you so much for posting this!

pictures, pictures, pictures It doesn't have to be the exact cut but you can show the stylist what you like, the length, the shape, the texture. And I have to search for specific things like cuts for fine hair. I was always in the habit of bringing pictures of styles that I wanted rather than what works for my hair. I have to be careful becasue I get the thank you sir also.

Your cut is so cute. And I loved that cut and style on Sienna Miller. She got the cut to play the role of Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl. A film about the Factory scene in New York in the 1960s and the relationships Edie had with Andy Warhol and Bob Dylan among others. Since I have long been a long fan of all that I watched the film. Not only is it a fine film bur Sienna did a great job. She also very much became Edie. She looked as close as she could. And you to lady really channel Sienna channeling Edie. If you have not seen the film, I suggest you do. Its superb. Jimmy Fallon actually plays Edie's sort of bf in the begining. I think you are beautiful, adorable and are the right combination of encouraging, teaching, fun and enthusiastic. I love this cut and shaggy look on you. It looked really cute wet and slicked back too. I love your detail and conviction. I also love the undercut. Your cut is very close to a bowlish cut. I love love love them. And todays modern trend bowlish cuts are more defined and softer than even just five years ago or so. I hope you keep this look awhile. Its sooo cute on you. I have subscribed. I wish you much success and happiness. One question? Are you a professional? If not you sure know a lot lol.
