I miss it down there. I grew up mostly in Frederiksted on St. Croix from a little aft6er I was born until I started 5th grade in Florida. I treasure that experience I suspect it help me be a better human than I might have been without the experience.

all these machines were used in the north of the caribbean to make the soca calypso jump up in the 80s, when I received my first MPC 2000 I sampled all the sounds in it, it brings back a lot of memories, thank you.

Yes My Caribbean Brother 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾 Soca & Calypso was a huge influence on me getting into making beats which lead to me dj’ing and making hip hop beats . Side note me still have me Yamaha RX 11 🤣😭
