I googled "the best short nonviolent communication video introduction" and your video came up first! I am so glad it did! I am revisiting NVC videos I have watched to share with a friend who is interested, but none did such a good job of synthesizing the ideas in a practical and meaningful way while giving examples and an exercise! Thank you for the wonderful work you do on so many levels!

Love this video ! Thanks. It appear just in right time, i had an argue with my girlfriend earlier and i came to shout on her and be really repulsive to stop the relation and the communication in the moment, I wasn't able anymore to go further in the communication with her. No space anymore since few really long minutes. She left, I did sport, and calm down. Now I see this video.. when we arrived at the exercise I thought "oh, I'm not going to do the exercise, too easy, I'm just going to listen." And right after I was "Oh!! Let's try with this earlier situation, I'm quite still mad about it and for sure absolutely not able to talk about it quietly with her, so let's do it!" I did. Thanks a lot. Tonight I need self confident, clarity, care and sweetness, consideration for what I can feel, freedom, confidence in the link with another friend, connection and inclusion. That's a lot, that's what I was trying to desperately shout on her. I wish I could ask for a giraffe translator for Xmas!!! :D

I love how you made this video. The drawings and the pop-ups (like the list of needs) really contributed to me being able to stay focused and interested during the whole video. I am really impressed how you are able to put so many important things of NVC in 12 minutes by giving loads of examples and even invite the audience to take part in the video. Thank you for so much effort!

The demonstrations were so helpful to see real-life examples of how to implement this, and asking us to pause and answer the questions ourselves gave me great practice. Also, the drawings in the background really helped to solidify my learning. I feel content and satisfied after watching this that I will be able to apply this in my life. You've given me clarity and understanding. Thank you.

I was never taught how to communicate properly. I am a poliglot and I can speak several languages but I am just learning to communicate. My anger, rage, judgment and anxiety used to be visible in 90% of the words I spoke. I'm learning how to communicate better and I want to use NVC with my family and in my classroom as a teacher. Your video is helpful, I'd like to attend one of your trainings because I have a need to change the way I speak to myself and others.

The effect of NVC lies not in the words you use, but in the attitude (actually your true inner judgement) in which you approach your partner. It's a misunderstanding that there are "nonviolent" words, there is a "nonviolent" attitude, which means to take full responsibility for your feelings and needs. You can express this responsibility in any words and even with judgements.

Hope you find a minute to answer my question: what if the person you are talking to is asking questions, saying you lie (not true), asking again and again, don’t listen, don’t answer your questions, don’t respond to what you say and saying that you are just a psycho? It is very painful for me and I’m yelling at her and go away on save distance to feel save. Don’t know what to do. I really want to learn and practice nonviolent communication. Is there a group online for that?
@yoramNVC2 жыл бұрын
I can very much imagine how challenging it is. I can't reply, as for me, replying means a dialogue, not just replying. As for online groups: Yes, we offer courses online and you are very welcome to join. You can join the Basic Course: www.connecting2life.net/workshop/2020-07-14/online/basic-course/ Greetings,
