Your welcome! Ah, no, I did not. I was in all honesty, disappointed when the first trailer came out, and I was not really a fan of the "Zombie" Godzilla design. When spoilers started floating around the internet, my disappointment only grew. Do not get me wrong, there is some really cool ideas in the movie( purple atomic breath, laser light show, Operation Yashiori). But there is other decisions that I question, like the concept of Godzilla having different forms, a trait that I feel is more fitting for the likes of Hedorah and Destroyah, I understand that being the first Japanese Godzilla since Final Wars, it had to be different in order to be successful. But I am one of those people who like new things to be different, but at least feel familiar. And Shin Godzilla, sorry to say, alienated me a bit too much for me to view it.

Originally that was more or less my thoughts on it, but I still felt obliged to see it; it's probably the only Japanese Godzilla film I'll ever see in a theatre only months after its initial release, after all. So despite not being entirely on board with what I saw (although I tried to avoid spoilers as much as possible) I saw it this past Tuesday with megaMoviemaker99 and one of my friends with school who's also starting to get into Godzilla. And man was I glad I went. The new aspects, at least for me, did not overshadow the fact that this FELT like a Toho Godzilla movie. I can understand not liking the design and the different forms (the latter being my absolute least favorite thing about the film, but the design for the final form is growing on me, especially after seeing it in action). And even if you don't watch the film (if you change your mind I believe the U.S. screening by funimation have been extended so that tomorrow is the last day, I STRONGLY recommend going just for the novelty if you can) at least listen to the soundtrack, particularly the song "Who Will Know"; the scene when the song plays legitimately gave me chills (and yes, it was a scene involving Godzilla, probably the best and most powerful scene in the film). So yeah, I was expecting to be disappointed but I was pleasantly surprised overall. A few things I'm not a huge fan of, but still it felt just as true to the character as 2014, in many ways more true. If you have the opportunity tonight or tomorrow, go see it and see what you think!

In any case, I'm having ideas for a Lego Batman series called 'Batman: Vigilante Justice'. Not entirely sure what to do for the first episode though. hmmm...

Oh that makes a little more sense...now I'm curious if my subscriptions have ever crapped out like that, they're usually pretty good....or so I assume lol That sounds good, Batman is probably my favorite superhero (although in a large part bc of the Dark Knight Trilogy lol). Why not start the series with him fighting off some small-scale baddies and at the end of the first episode introduce a major villain like the Joker or someone?
