I'm noticing that a triangled section best defuses out the corners of the head. In this cut it with the fringe, and leaves really cool looking layers.

I've been using the "blowdry as I go" technique for awhile with most of my bob shapes, I feel like it gives me more focus on where to preserve or take out weight in relation to the headshape. It's also a godsend as I can show a client where the perimeter will sit if they're a bit undecided on length. I'll cut the nape area, dry it, and show them in the mirror.
