That has to be the most interesting video i have ever seen about crappie. I used to swim with them as a kid. They will bite a mole on you body for sure. Guess they think its a tick. Now that i try to catch them, i am absolutely terrible. I remember diving deep and feeling where the water was warm and cold they would hang out and just float around being lazy. I wished i would have wanted to catch them then. I was more into water skiing. Thanks for the video. Oh yeah, they like blue diamond/ white diamond/ silver rings to. They would bite at my ring in the sand on clear water days.

All of those big crappie make my mouth water. There is no finer table fare. I love eating fish especially wintertime fish, they have a much better taste. Hushpuppies, coleslaw, tartar sauce, French fries, onion rings, a nice salad, sweet, iced tea, all just add to the experience. Bluegill, and catfish are my other favorite fish. With a stringer full of any of these fish, life is good.

Live baits have a special smell that quickly decomposes and disappears on a dead refrigerated bait. There is another great clue in this video. Shade.
