Short Scale Fretless Bass Ambrosia Maple/ Purpleheart & Black Walnut

This is a 30” short scale fretless bass.
The body had been completely chambered and has an Ambrosia Maple top with Mahogany and Purpleheart stripes. The body is hand carved and designed to minimize neck weight. There are several small areas on the body that have been embedded with real Turquoise where the wood has pock marks from when it was harvested (see pictures). The back of the body is Black Walnut.
This instrument is perfectly balanced. The total weight of this bass is 7 lbs. The weight throughout the guitar is evenly distributed and very easy to sit/stand and play comfortably (no neck dive).
The neck is Mahogany with an Purpleheart fretboard, white fret lines and real hand laid Turquoise Markers and white side markers
The neck has the same nut width of a standard bass- 42mm nut width. Translation: it doesn’t feel like you’re playing a toy). This is the same string spacing as a standard J bass.
The fretboard is radiused to a 12” for playing comfortability and a slightly rounded
Slotted with a bone nut.
The guitar has a Poly Blend cured finish. This helps keep the weight of the instrument down and keeps the body resonate. This is a set neck guitar.
Come equipped with fully encased P/J pickups.
Electronics
3 way toggle pickup selector/volume/Push Pull Tone control.
Bournes 500k volume pot with a push pull tone. In the pressed position it has an Orange .047upf capacitor giving you traditional bass sounds and in the pulled position it has a .027 Tropical Fish Capacitor giving the bass a deep dark tone. All wired with cloth wrapped wiring.
