Short-Term disability | Return to work VS apply for LTD

You assume your doctors have been the slightest bit helpful from ever. They don’t get paid for paperwork in BC so they refuse to do it. I returned to work and failed 3 times. Medical EI was their “‘short term disability”. It ran out two months ago. No income and Ltd paperwork just came in the mail. Now I have to pay to have a doctor who never supported me at all to fill out paperwork.

When I fill out the long term forms that ask what date did you become disabled? If your trying to return to work but just can’t function properly what date do you use?
