Short Track Racing Full Race: Caraway Speedway U-Car Division Twin 12’s/5 Lap Heats (6/29/24)

6/29/24 saw the U-Cars continue their car count dominance at #CarawaySpeedway with 19 cars coming to do battle in Twin 12’s! But first they must survive the 5 Lap Heats!
Race 1 Summary: #17 Jeremy Moose and #32 Ron Mock would lead the 19 car field to green! Everyone on track were racing each other hard and clean till Lap 3 when #1 Justin Hill went around in turn 1 due to fluid on the track. On the restart the 17 of Moose would take the lead and hold off a hard charging #32 Ron Mock for the win as the rest of the action packed field scrambled for position behind him.
Race 2 Summary: Points leader #09 Jason Richmond and the secretly fast #26 Tito Clapp would lead the field to green in the second race. Lap 3 seemed to be kryptonite for #1 Justin Hill as he would lose his left front wheel coming out of turn 2 slamming the backstretch wall ending his night. During the caution we would also see #23 Barry Hines, #9 Justin Smith, and #21 Caleb Allred retire from the race for various reasons. On the restart #26 Tito Clapp would leave the field behind and never look back. He would take the on track win but failed inspection due to illegal tires. The win was awarded to #17 Jeremy Moose giving him 2 wins in 1 night! #MooseMania was running wild at Caraway!
