Seems like the cross cutting happened all the time in the game, Ren also did that when the curve before final, and try to squeeze as well. And at the end, then you mentioned about Liu "touch" first, what if it just an accidental, I saw his play is usually go to the inner line every round after exiting the curve. Also, I feel like it's not Liu try to squeeze, Instead I feel like Ren try to go to that small path near the blue line, which is the same line that Liu plan to go as well. Even thought cross-cutting is wrong, but that kind of play is it okay for sportsmanship here? Again, I'm not in Liu side or Ren side. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm happy to learn.

Let's say if Ren didn't grab Liu at the finish line, instead, he just let Liu push him off the track and he fell. Then someone else passed him and finished first. Now who should be the champion? I don't know the rules specifically, but I think the referee has made a reasonable decision. It is understandable for Ren to grab Liu when Liu was pushing him off the track before the finish line. Even worse, imagine if the third player was Hungarian as well... if you didn't allow Ren to have body contact with Liu, it just wouldn't make any sense.

If they IOC really doing CCP a favour, they will not make such big mistake when Max was the second guy to perform, plenty of time to replay and pick on since 90+ score already 90% chance gold medal contender. Liu crossed the line with his foot raised which doesn't count anyway, then got DQ for dangerous play. You can argue the Chinese guy pushed him and made him have to lunge at the finish but really there's always going to be elbow to elbow action at the finish line and you have to keep your blade grounded when crossing the line. This vid just recommend to me and I think it's interesting. I'm in a middle not Liu or Ren side. I comments here want to know about this. This is what I understand. Liu was doing inner lane for every round and seems like he was going to do at the end as well... but Ren came that inner lane and the end and foul happened. It's clear from ref vid that Liu "touched" first... but what if Liu just accidentally "touch" (not push)?
