Mini motor. Just want to thank you so much for posting the videos on the Honda engines. I recently purchased a 2003 Honda XR70R with a bad engine on it. It would not run. The foot crank was stripped out and could not crank it. I tore those engines down several years ago when my kids were small but it’s been a long time ago now. Thanks to you after finding you on the you tube videos I was able to get this transmission switched out and back together. I referred to your video several times through this operation. The videos were great and you have good working hands to put these engines together under your video camera. You do real good work in building engines. The motorcycle has been brought back to life and it looks good and runs perfectly now thanks to your video help.

Your efforts are very well appreciated! This is by far, the most detailed and correct information on this subject. Your videos really boost confidence for a novice like myself. I have a genuine interest in small Honda engines and have really learned a lot from watching your videos! I am looking forward to other videos you have planned. Thanks from Virginia!

Hey, my wife used to live in Arlington. It's been almost 20 years, but she still talks about memories and friends she had there. Anyway, glad you found it helpful, that's the purpose of these videos. One thing I find great about these engines is that even beginner mechanics can keep them running and make use of them.

Brilliant explanation of rebuilding a little Honda engine and very helpful. I have a Chinese copy Z bike frame with a Honda C90 engine in it. Last year it went under water in the floods so I decided to give it a part restoration. I’ve powder coated loads of parts and the frame, along with painting the tank and forks. It’s looks great, now the engine which I’ve vapor blasted. I need to order some bearings and oil seals but I’m unsure of the year of the engine. I only have the engine number HA02E-1374452 with GB6 on the case too. Can you shed any light for me please as you seem super knowledgeable about these engines.

This video was EXCELLENT. I bought a used 2011 CRF50F and it clunks horribly shifting between gears, it is impossible to do smoothly like my yamaha... any idea what could be worn/broken that could be causing this I should look for? Thx

Hello,i have a kymco k pipe 50 and my semi clutch is acting weird. On a cold engine, i start an put it in 1st gear and the engine turns off, the bike wants to go drive, so i have to rev and then put it in gear, and keep reving till im driving. The clutch is ticking and when i slowly put it in 1st gear the ticking gets worse, then rev to prevent the engine turn off. Is seems the engine has to work hard and the bike wants to creep. Sorry for the bad English , im from the netherlands

At ~ 20:52 the green gasket seems to be blocking at least in part some of the openings in the cases.
@minimotorman59316 жыл бұрын
That area of the case is the crankcase vent tube and is supposed to be covered by that part of the gasket, so no problems there.
