"The one and only Trigano Olympe". There is now a large trailer tent that does not take you all day to set up. Great design and a surprisingly low price.

The stopwatch in the video appears to show a 20 minute setup, not 5. With all of the pieces that have to go together, there are many points of failure that can ruin your trip. Also, getting all of that broken down, folded up, and and packed away would be a nightmare. Don't get me wrong - it's a nice unit. There just seem to be a TON of steps involved in getting it set up and for me, I'd rather stick to a standard popup camper with a small dome tent for kids or extra storage.

That would be so much fun spending spending hours setting it up. You would be ready for bed. But no doing the nasty sense the bed is held up by flimsy tent poles!
@lynperk8 жыл бұрын
if you have to go thru all that assembly you might as well just buy a tent ,dam son. all the labor of a tent,at the cost of a RV. yea that makes sense

Beautiful design! Bravo! :) Takes a bit to set up, but it looks great. Lots of room, and would be great with a large group where this was the main tent. Perfect for long stays, not so perfect for quick camping trips.

Should've used brass zippers. Steel will rust and plastic break in cold temps. Brass is the most viable option for zippers.

Setting looks easy enough but my concerns...... 1) Wind 2) Taking it down , you'll need to watch a video. 3) For the cost and how durable , not worth it. Better off buying a few cheap tarps and building a bushcraft type shelter . Not worth the hassle of putting it up and down. Maybe as a camp ground tent left up all season at the Jersey shore....Might be ideal.

Great long term tent but the roof doesn't look good for snow to fall off. And where the front? It needs a space befor you walk in to take off shoes, hang coats, e.t.c- maybe another room to the side for a composting toilet?

I think people are starting to misunderstand the terms "camping" and "tent". It was cool none the less.

Looks good. And it can be set up really fast. BUT: a) moving on the bed will shake the entire tent. b) way too expensive, given that you have to buy the trailer.

Great looking tent but way too involved. A nightmare to pack up in the rain then get it all out again to let it dry. Looks good set up though.
@SteveeB419 жыл бұрын
Let me first say, it's a great piece of engineering. It seems that my concern has been voiced on the comments already..........the wind! If you survive getting it set up and it starts to rain and the wind comes up, is it going to inflate like a balloon and travel on its own? Is it going to flap in the wind like you're shaking out a towel? Second, it looks like those poles holding up the beds aren't too sturdy. I wouldn't trust this thing. Has anyone actually purchased this monstrosity?
@jadejaguarcuontheotherside75514 жыл бұрын
Would the supports hold a family moving around in it? The legs Are To flimsy IMO... can you see anyone above 140 plus? No way

+Kevin Riley Kevin, perhaps you didn't notice the two sleeping chambers on either side of the trailer base? they have zippered curved openings. i'd also bet there's a handy zip=on front face covering that they failed to show so that folks like you could hope to get the picture? they did their best.....
@Kheldarren12 жыл бұрын
That's not a tent - it's a portable lodge. There is enough setup / takedown to classify it as more trouble that it's worth for a weekend trip.
@dragames8 жыл бұрын
I can already see problems with this. It's a neat design and incredibly roomy... for a 'two bedroom'. The biggest thing is that it seems that if you WANT to use the 'living room' for extra sleeping for kids or something, you can't. Bugs will be all over that shit so fast. The second problem is the overuse of velcro and way too many steps for putting it up, putting it away would be far more taxing. There's a lot of smaller bag tents for less than $200 that have more bedrooms and more securely keep bugs out. the biggest reason to use this is as it is on a trailer, it is less likely to be blown 100% away. And the rods seem to be of quality so...there's that... I'd suggest just getting a 12 bedroom tent for $200 honestly...
@salemsaberhagen83908 жыл бұрын
yeah I would just save myself the money and maybe spend a few hundred on a nice tent that could easily rival this

I could set up three regular cabin tents in the time it takes to set up this nightmare. And for MUCH less money. As a lifelong camper - I just don't get it.
