Short Vowel Word Family Crafts The Teaching Texan

These word family crafts can be used for whole group instruction, centers, or morning work. Imagine how proud your students will be to show off their word family artwork and read their CVC words to you! Each craft includes an instruction page with a photograph of a finished example and templates for stencils to trace or class sets that can be copied right onto colored paper or white paper for coloring.
Tip: I always ask my students to either read their CVC words to me or a partner as reinforcement.
