Shortening the Lowstar Loadstar driveline

Shortening the driveshaft on the 1968 International Loadstar 1800. The donor driveline and axles are from a 1987 International S1900 lopro ex uhaul truck. They are disc brake 8 lug axles with 19.5” wheels. Here I shorten the driveline, weld it up and install a crossmember for the carrier bearing mount.

for final assembly, be sure to phase the u-joints from front shaft with the u-joints of the rear shaft. if you need any help, i did a video awhile ago about setting up driveline angles on multipart drive shafts.
