When I do this kind of component it takes 15 to 20 HOURS just to do the calculations, then you have to cut out and sort all the coupons, then you have to go to the store to purchase all of the items, which again takes several hours and if they don't have all of any of the items you're counting on for the overages you have to recalculate everything right there in the store. It's ALOT of work and it's exhausting and stressful so yes, when something isn't right it's very upsetting. Especially if you don't have enough money to pay for everything bc you calculated wrong.

The thing with coupons is that you get, for example one dollar if you buy two $2 soups, but then you go the day the soup is on sale so instead of being $2 they're now $1 each and since you brought 2 you are now paying $1 instead of $4, and there are more extreme examples. That's how you get to be owed by the store. Cat food gives a lot of money in coupons that you can use as credit to buy fruits and veggies, and you can donate the food.

Lunch meat, butter, bread, milk, etc. just grab shit to eat around the house. Bro came home with I fucking swear on everything I love100 boxes of fucking Healthy choice frozen dinners and at least 75 boxes of Nutrigrain bars. I was BEYOND angry. I can’t even look at a frozen dinner or a nutrigrain bar and this was over a decade ago. We were broke college kids and I had no choice but to eat that shit til I got my bread up and was able to shop for myself. And it turned out he kept the fucking change, he didn’t even spend the whole $100. He also worked at a cvs, and he would put in his number anytime a customer bought something and didn’t have their own card, and he would rack up INSANE extra bucks, then use those with the coupons at cvs and randomly come home with like 60 boxes of fucking oatmeal. I stopped talking to the kid and moved out way before the lease was up.
