We commonly come across a bleeding wound in Casualty.
We need to apply a neat compression dressing that will prevent more blood loss, till the wound can be explored under optimal conditions and the bleeding vessel managed.

Sir, here if we ligate the artery ! Or after binding a tourniquet, if we anastomosis the artery ! then shall I not stop the bleeding ??

Yes, but that should be done only in a regular Operation Theatre under good light and magnification.
